W7 Cosmetics Lip Jacket Zip and Seal Lipstick Sealer 5 ml

For many many years I have been using the Lipcote which is the same thing as this brand. I have always been happy with Lipcote and yes lipstick stays on longer than with out it BUT one time I couldn't get it I thought I would give this brand a try. I am so glad I did because I now use this one instead! Reason being the lipstick stays on much longer which saves constantly reapplying when out and works out cheaper then using so much lipstick! Initially I didn't think I would like it as it made my lips feel really dry and actually stung for a while but having persevered with it (didn't want to waste my money having bought it) I have used it since and onto my 3rd purchase... I will also continue to use it in future. If you remember that it will possibly sting on first few applications an your lips may feel dry (so can Lipcote but not as strong) than you should be happy with it. It will improve with getting used to it. Obviously do not use on cracked lips.

Long lasting

This does work to a certain degree but I had hoped it would last most of the day before wearing off. I found it just a little patchy after a while… but better than nothing ! Perhaps I was expecting too much.

Always purchase this as good price. Results can vary, on me it seems to stay but when daughter has used it doesn't but because its for me I have regularly bought. It keeps my lipstick on even after meals. It doesn't shine though and the smell sometimes after a while in the bottle can be funny. It doesn't irritate though but can sting something on application.

It stung, smells like nail varnish remover and didn’t keep the lipstick on. Rubbish product

Bueno , después de mucho pensarlo, ya que los comentarios que había leído no eran muy alentadores, decidí comprarlo, ya que yo me maquillo diariamente y los labios es una de las cosas que menos me duran, a media mañana, estaba totalmente desmaquillada, tenía que volverme a maquillar . El producto no hace milagros , si comes y te limpias con una servilleta, algo se va, pero por el hecho de tomarte un café, fumar, o picar entre horas, por esas cosas no estropea, yo he llegado a casa después de horas de trabajo y apenas perder color, claro está sello un pintalabios permanente, eso también hace. Decir también que el olor no es desagradable, que no pica horrores los labios, que no los reseca… he leído tantas cosas sobre este producto, que me lo pensé varias veces. Si te molesta desmaquillarte o manchar con el pintalabios no lo dudéis.

I always had a problem with my regular lipsticks since most of the time it only lasts around 30 mins. and that's why I resorted in to using the matte liquid lipsticks. Then I came across the lip jacket to try it on to my lips. The smell of the lip jacket is really strong it almost smells like a nail polish or an acetone and when I first tried it on it gives you a sting on to your lip but I got used to it. Anyways it really lived up to its expectations, the 30 min length can usually go up to 4-6 hours with the jacket on. Depending on what you do it might have a shorter hold. But other than that this lip jacket is great since for once I can have a wider variety of colors to choose from whenever I use this!

Really works! It smells terrible, but that only lasts while applying and quickly fades. NEED to make sure you wait to test the blot until after it COMPLETELY dries. The great thing, when it does "stop working", it doesn't flake or blob or get spotty, it just fades, which is what good lipstick does anyway when needing reapplication. Doesn't last as long as promised, but I was wearing really RED lipstick and ate salad dressing that may have been oily.

Does exactly what is promised - a half day and not a smudge so far
