PopSockets: PopGrip for MagSafe - Expanding Phone Stand and Grip with a Swappable Top for Smartphones and Cases - Blue Nebula

Been interested in a pop socket for video recording stability (read: grip) for a while but never really wanted to sacrafice my phone or case to a sticker I have no clue would leave residue or not on the phone. Enter this! Attached to an iPhone 13 Pro Max in an official MagSafe Leather Case, I can literally swing the phone around by the pop socket and it will not budge. More than adequate for filming the kids running around on a climbing frame or round the garden without worry. I wouldn't want to try and shot put my phone by it as I expect that might be too much force, but above average force it'll stay magnetised amazingly! The biggest downside is the pop socket can only magnetise to the MagSafe magnet on the rear of the phone in one way, and the socket itself isn't adjustable on the mounting magnet plate, meaning the pop socket could be in an odd place or your hands. I have large hands, and the Pro Max is a large phone, but I find the socket itself is actually not where I would have stuck one down and feels too high, so I actually find it harder to stretch over the phone for some buttons or areas like for notifications. My wife has very small hands and said similar (although she said she'd not have such a large phone) so it may fit nicer on a iPhone or iPhone Mini. I also found with the 13 Pro Max, if you extend the socket to use it as a stand, the phone being quite large and heavy, a gentle tap on YouTube and my phone falls down. But, if you set a film off and just leave it, it will stay put. A small annoyance especially if you watch stuff while you work, or washing up and need to skip adverts! That all said, it does exactly what it says on the marketing material. When flattened, it's not all that thick and has never come off in my pocket (which I read the MagSafe Wallet does all the time) - So the magnets in this must be on another level!

I for a new iPhone 15 and bought this to use with a thin MagSafe case and it worked perfectly. The magnet is strong enough that it won’t come off unless you peel and almost pry it away from your phone. That said removal is not difficult, it just makes you aware of the magnets strength. I would recommend this for anyone who likes to use pop sockets but doesn’t want to stick one to a case or buy a phone specific case. I’m not currently using it as I am using a quad lock case with a 3d printed and modified pop socket (pop socket please make one to fit quad lock cases) but I have kept it as it can be used with any MagSafe phone. Definitely recommend

Got this for my 12 Pro Max. Fits on the phone well and holds it very nicely. Not sure what the complaints are about it not sticking to well on big phones, just make sure you have a magsafe case etc and its perfect. Holds on really well and is comfy in the hand. If you have a big phone i presume you have larger hands so the pop socket is in the perfect spot. Not sure what others are complaining about I cant speak for longevity of the product as i only just got it but from standard stick on pop sockets ive had in the past, they hold up pretty well use depending. Additionally, its not too thick, so not sure what those complaints are about either. Slips into my pocket with ease Only 2 issues i have was that bloody sticker they put on it and it is definitely a bit over priced for what it is. If you can get the black one for 23 quid but £15 would feel more appropriate. Other than that, happy.

This has been sticking to my phone since I got it. It has scratches & marks on it, but works great & I'm very used to it now. Although for holding for really long periods of time, the bone side part of the middle & index did hurt a bit at the beginning for me it doesn't happen to me that much. With proper magsafe cases, it sticks to them like glue & doesn't come off easily at all. If you're popsocket person, thenyou'll love the switch to the magsafe popsocket as there will be no adhesion issues to deal with.

I no longer own this product, as it was quite a while ago that I ordered it, but I wanted to share my thoughts. I really loved the PopSockets: PopGrip for MagSafe, especially the Blue Nebula design. It worked great as both a phone stand and a grip, and the swappable top was a cool feature. Unfortunately, over time, the protective material over the magnets started to peel away, and the vinyl began to come off. Despite this, the grip still functioned as it was supposed to, but I was a little disappointed by the peeling. Overall, I did enjoy it during the time I had it, and I would still recommend it to others, though I would caution that wear and tear may happen over time. I’m giving it three stars for its functionality and design, but the durability could be better.

Absolutely love this. My partner bought one & I must admit that at first I just didn’t get it. Having used his though, I realise how versatile this is. Its great for standing your phone up if you want to watch something or if your taking photos. I also using it now when I’m gaming. It makes my iphone pro max so much safer & easier to handle. The colour is pretty & looks really cool. Its super easy to attach (literally just attaches itself) so you don’t need to replace it when you change cases or phones. Highly recommend it but make sure you get the “Magsafe” version otherwise you’ll have to stick it to your case.

I had never understood people using such grips on their phones... until I got one for myself. I recently upgraded from iPhone 6s to iPhone 13. The bigger screen looks better but it is hard to handle and reach upper sections on the screen. This popgrip gives you so much more confidence when you're holding your phone. I also didn't want to stick something to my phone case so this is the perfect solution as you can take it off anytime you want. It is especially great if you use a wireless charger.

Uso da anni l'originale popsockets, ormai non posso più farne a meno. Non ho le mani grandissime e spesso l'iPhone non mi sta proprio comodo in mano. Con il popsocket è tutta un'altra cosa, anche quando il cono è chiuso, il grip migliora notevolmente e lo smartphone non mi scivola praticamente MAI. L'attacco magsafe di questo modello poi è la svolta, mai più scomodi adesivi che dovevi attaccare e staccare ogni volta che cambiavi cover. I materiali sono belli solidi, il percepito è davvero di un prodotto Premium.
