Colman's OK Fruity Sauce 335 g (Pack of 4)

This is the "brown sauce" of my childhood. I now buy it here or in Chinese supermarkets. It still makes the perfect bacon butty, even though that isn't its main use today. It is such a superior flavour to any other brown sauce in the supermarket - it's fruity, full of spices and the vinegar is dialled right down. From the bottom of my heart, I thank every single Chinese person who took this to their kitchens back in the day and keeps it going today!

Great. Where has this gone in our stores?! A little expensive but if you like it it’s worth it.

I've been looking for a nice tasting brown fruity sauce for ages, I came across this on amazon and remembered that I really liked this when I was Younger before it disappeared off UK shelves ( poor decision by Colmans ) Anyway I was amazed and disappointed that it is still made in this country but then exported to the far east ( where it is very popular apparently ) and then re-imported to the UK for consumers, how crazy is that!. After all that this sauce is great with a slightly tangy fruity flavour and it goes great with sausages and bacon. It is comparably expensive and you may do better finding a local Chinese supermarket but I think its worth it.
