Not fit for purpose
Absolutely not fit for purpose. Noisey, lasted 3 months one single house build before bearings went on engine. Tried to blame not being serviced every 100 hours (2 weeks) after a lot of hassle they repaired it only to come back even noisier.

Does what it says on the tin!
I'm a big fan of honda generators. Particularly the inverter series. However, needing something with a larger power output and longer runtime with diesel i looked at this model. It is now installed in a custom built shed and controlled by an ATS and so far works perfectly. Noise wise then yes if you stand next to it then its very noisy. 25+m away and its barely audible. Ok for me with large property but may annoy neighbors in for eg a terrice location.

Avoid
Nothing but problems a week after purchase, in a little over 12 months (thats how long you get a warrantee for!) it has stopped working 8 times, we have replaced 3 x AVRs, 2 x cooling fans and now the air filter has disintegrated and destroyed the engine and it only has 300 hours showing. Main UK dealer as much use as the air filter! My advice….. spend a bit more on something better and save money and hassle in the long run
