M10 to M8 reducer
Brilliant worked perfectly. Had a table with M10 holes and feet with M8 fixings. These joined the two perfectly.

Thread reducers
Thank you for your query, I received them quickly and they did the job perfectly. It was easy to drill and tap the holes to the correct size and to fit the inserts. As I do not intend on removing them they were fitted using a stud grade Loctite which did the job perfectly.

Did the job once, but the quality is a bit rough
These are small metal thread reducers that convert an M8 thread to an M10 thread using a short male to female adaptor. I picked them up for a DIY job in the garage where I needed to attach an M10 fitting onto a bracket that only had an M8 threaded hole. They do technically work, and the sizing was correct. I was able to screw the M8 end into the bracket and then attach the M10 bolt into the other side without any major issues. The length is quite short at around 12 mm which was actually useful for my setup because I did not want anything sticking out too far. Where things fall down is the overall finish. The threading feels a little rough and one of the pieces needed a bit of persuasion to get started properly. I also noticed that the edges were not very cleanly machined, which makes them feel more like basic workshop hardware rather than something well made. For light use they are probably fine, but I would not trust them in anything that needs real strength or precision. They are usable if you just need a quick thread conversion for a small project, but the build quality is nothing special and I would probably look for a better machined version next time.
