Q: Can this tool be powered by the 18v lithium battery supplied with stanley fatmax drill - stanley and b&decker are same company.

If it's the same type of battery, yes.

Q: Will it work with a 36 volt black and decker lithium 2.0 ah battery?

I’m pretty sure it won’t. I have several B&D tools that use the 18volt battery and it works fine with that. Even if the 36v battery fits, the voltage would be too much for the motor.
