I recently purchased this outstanding sewing kit from Amazon. Initially, I thought the case was "too compact" to hold much, but I was VERY mistaken! This kit is LOADED with a NICE array of tools, including 18 generous thread choices, plenty of needles, a magnifying glass, and a needle threader ~ providing *everything* a student, traveler, or child might need for repairs at home or on the go. The Kit also includes sets of small snaps (in case you blowout the seat of your pants"). I discovered my favorite Hawaiian shirt had 2 loose coconut buttons ~ my repairs were both quick and successful. Now ALL buttons are secure and good for another 50,000 miles! These Kits contain highly practical items at a very reasonable price! I also highly recommend theses Kits as thoughtful gifts for friends. "APPLAUSE!" to the persons who selected ALL the goodies inside! All items are neatly organized in a rugged, compact carrying case.

So this little kit is adorable. I bought it primarily for the needle threader, the variety of colored threads, and some extra needles. Love the colors, and love how little & portable the kit is. BUT the thin little cylinder containing the needles was a mess. I found it really hard to open the plastic top, and while trying to do that, the back came off of it - you can see the little glue spots in the picture. I managed to pry it partly open with tweezers, and needles came flying out. (I used an old needle envelope to hold them - no big deal.) Only one of the needles had a generously sized eye, which was a bummer for me. 4 stars because it cost $5.99, for crying out loud -- my expectations were not expansive or anything 😆 - and it had many good features! And maybe I got a bad needle pack by fluke.

This is the first sewing kit I’ve ever had and I think it came with everything I could possibly ever need and it was not super expensive. The quality was great the ingredients for a beginner so I like myself or just an occasional sower it was perfect along with the case to keep everything in was ideal.

This is the perfect on the go fixer bag for all of my "can you fix this" projects. Has a lot of different colors and all the materials you need to make quick hand stitches. Would recommend for the price.

It saved my ass now twice and its very inexpensive. Everybody should have one of these at home
