This is a shower oil. It is used like a gel for gently washing in the shower. However it leaves the skin well moisturised. If you have very dry skin then this ultra gentle wash will be what you are looking for I love it. 5*

Yes, I would. But my face skin is not sensitive. I love this product.

Is a body lotion still needed after showering?

I need it because my skin is super dry. But if you don't have the same issue you should be fine just with the shower oil.
