I use this mat with my East Oak fire pit in order to protect my driveway when having a fire. It would perfectly. I will also add that the customer service at East Oak is outstanding. I had a small issue and they immediately solved for it. Great company with great products.

Does its job as far as keeping anything from potentially damaging the structure that the grill is on, although we are constantly having to put the corners back down on the ground because they are very floppy in the wind. It is a lightweight mat.

I just recently purchased east oak fire pit, cover and mat. Love the fire pit and cover but mat did not seem to work at all. Really burnt my grass bad. The mat literally had one job, and it failed miserably. Edit: after contacting the company regarding this issue, I was refunded and received 2 additional mats. Great customer service!
