Long Battery Life
Long battery life, highly accurate GPS, long list of activities to choose from. Great workout library and the watch itself is much lighter than the previous Apex I had. Will continue to purchase and patronize Coros

Look no further, this is the watch!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Coros' watches are hard to beat at the price point. They offer a lot of functionality hundreds of dollars less than competitors (basically just Garmin). I normally run 20-30 miles a week and only have to charge the watch every other week. I think a huge advantage of this watch is that it is light and more compact than competitors - I can't imagine running with a bulky aluminum watch. Functionality: The watch functions as expected - I find the ability to draw routes in the Coros app or pull from Strava and follow them on my wrist to be very handy. The watch also has a lot of customization around designing what screens you want to be displayed depending on the activity which is very nice.

Everything you want, nothing you don't.
This watch is an incredible value, and a dream to run with. Comparing this to a Garmin Fenix, it's amazing. The three button layout makes so much more sense than Garmin's five buttons. I never accidentally open or close anything, whereas I used to keep pressing and hoped I got what I wanted on the Garmin, cursing it when it closed things I wanted. This watch is able to pick up every type of global positioning satellite in the world. It makes me laugh that most of what I pick up are Russian and Chinese. The Chinese satellites aren't available on Garmin, and I think that's why it takes ages for them to pick up a signal. The Coros gets one near instantly. I never feel like there are features I'm not using on this watch. Everything makes sense. I love that this has HRV, when it's only available on other watches that cost hundreds more. Coros made me a big time fan in one shot. Looking forward to using this with a Pod 2 soon.

Good running watch with great esthetics
I was attracted to this watch purely because of the way it looks. I absolutely love the rose gold and the sapphire dial...just makes it look more like a proper watch than a sports watch and very high end. The interface is more like Garmin than apple watch, and has clearly been geared towards outdoor running, so if that is your sport this may be a great choice. Pros: 1. Super good looking - feels more like a real watch than a sporta watch and appears to be very well constructed. 2. Great running functions, including training load and race time predictor, along with training progrMs from 5k to marathon that you can load directly onto the watch. 3. Detailed sleep tracking and still has the ability to measure resting heart rate and SPO2 intermittently, which produces great battery life. Cons: 1. More difficult to find compatible watch bands. I like switching them out a lot so this is a bummer for me, but I have found some good ones on Amazon (just order 20mm quick release bands) 2. Very pricey for the level of functionality - this is more expensive than my Garmin was and functionality is more basic, but esthetics were my primary reason for buying. 3. Alarm vibration is a little weak - I have never not woken up but tend to set an extra alarm just in case because I wear earplugs when I sleep.

Good quality to price value!
Great watch for quality to price value! I really like the training and sports programs included. There are still a few minor software things I wished were different, e.g. being able to customize what you see where (especially when using the mirror function on the phone: it would be great to be able to see my power instant value on the navigation also, along with the speed, slope estimate and what not...). I would give it a 4.5, but since it is not possible, 5/5.

Topographic maps are useless
I bought this watch over the Pace 3 because of the topo map support for hiking/trail running in New England. However, the topo maps are practically useless. The watch uses openstreetmap, which is only rendered in meters using a massive 20 meter minor contour and 100 meter major contour. You can select to display in feet, however doing so only changes the labels so you get a very weird 65 foot minor contour / 325 foot major contour. The contours will only display at a close zoom level so even in fairly steep mountains (eg the Whites in NH) you dont get any usable level of detail. Unless you want to become an expert in openstreetmaps and render your own maps (i am not but this seems very possible to learn especially if you know german or polish), there is no way to change the contour interval to something more useful or standard. The USGS and almost all hiking maps in the US use a 10 foot minor contour and 50 foot major contour. A 65 foot contour interval might be kinda ok in the high Sierra Nevada or parts of Colorado, but even then the odd CI should turn you away from Coros if the topo maps are a selling point for you. The maps were clearly slapped in as a boardroom afterthought to appease the marketing department. All the other features of the watch are great- good build quality, great battery life, excellent location accuracy etc.

Best Smartwatch for Heart Rate Alerts, Exercise, and Downloaded Maps
I tried Apple, Garmin, Fitbit, and others. This Coros is the best Smartwatch for Heart Rate Alerts, Exercise, and Downloaded Maps. It is the ONLY watch that will notify you of a high heart rate while exercising. It records your track very precisely and let's you export it easily in a number of formats including .KML files that can be viewed on Google Earth. And I charge it only weekly!

Great sports/fitness tracking watch
Have been using for three years now. Great stats and app. Lengthy battery life. It sometimes skips laps in an indoor pool.
