It’s small so you’re going to have to get down close to the ground to use it. I used it to locate a property pin and find a smaller piece of metal that got buried. It works. It is small, so stores inside without taking up much space, and it was a good price. The battery lasted 9 months between uses, with the detection beep loud and strong. As the name implies, it is great for pinpointing if you know the general area something is in. If you’re just searching a larger area, this may not be the best choice.

A waste of money. Worked once. I used it the first time looking for some lost keys in the garden. Second day I tried again looking for the last keys and it wouldn’t turn on. So I replaced the battery, eventually trying two new batteries. It beeped loudly several times as I was putting a new battery in. But once the battery was fully installed a blank display came on and stayed on and would not turn off. The button wouldn’t turn it off. I tried replacing the battery again several times, and the same problem occurred – the button would not turn off the continuous lit blank display. Looking at the display at an angle, I could see that all the sensor lines were very dimly visible, but again the on/off button would not turn the display off. Only removing the battery turned the display off. A waste of money.

I recently picked up the hobby of coin collecting & always wanted to get a metal detector. I started off small just to dig in my backyard to see how this works & I was quite impressed. Sound quality: Personally I like the vibration of it with the sound together. If you’re in a louder environment ​I recommend both. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price was affordable compared to others & had great reviews so thought I’d give it a shot. Vibration level: Vibration level is perfect Weight: Very light which I appreciate Ease of use: Extremely easy to use Fun: Very fun as well I had my nephews digging with me. I think I’ll get them one to have and use Metal detector: I found a quarter a few pennies & a couple dimes. Some random nails & metals as well. I took it to the beach also & found a couple coins. Overall happy with this purchase.

I’m a shade-tree mechanic and handyman. Inevitably, a fastener or two rolls off my work platform into the grass. They are not always ferrous, so I bought this detector. It didn’t for me. I salted a fastener in the grass. The detector found it but only after I saw the fastener first. Even if on the surface, this detector needs to be within less than an inch to detect metal. I didn’t use it long enough to rate battery life. I understand why many have been returned. Not a good value.

I lost a special bolt out of my roto-tiller over the weekend. I bought this and I found it within 10 minutes. I also found 3 nails and a washer. Very handy tool to have around house. Recommended.

The product color was different but the item shipped and delivered on time. Also the detection and performance excellent. It's done the detection very well and satisfied with this product and highly recommended for object detection in both dry land,wet land and water too. With help of this product I found my lost gold ornaments which is around 4grams. Really superb product and use it slowly to find the missing object . Really appreciate it performance and it's delivery. Worth for money. The key chain was missing in this order. Also there's no battery indicator in the LCD screen.
