I sometimes use the cream on my feet through the winter, but I love how it makes my skin feel after a shower or bath. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ wonderful subtle vanilla smell, but expensive *by K***5 on April 28, 2025* I was looking for a nice vanilla-scented lotion, like the old discontinued St Ives, so I tried 5 recommendations. I know people perceive smells differently, but here’s what I found: 5) Victoria Secret Bare Vanilla – horrible! Nasty perfume smell, and really strong, too. I would be embarrassed to go to work after using this; don’t want to be “that” woman that reeks of perfume in the elevator. Actually threw it away. 4) Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar – also disappointing, the light vanilla scent is overwhelmed by a chemical perfume smell. It’s also the runniest of the bunch. 3) Hempz Toasted Vanilla Caramel – definitely more toasted caramel than vanilla. It’s a really REALLY sweet smell and very strong, but it wears off as it’s absorbed. Not quite what I wanted but I could picture some people liking it, as long as you know what to expect. 2) EOS Vanilla Cashmere – finally a real vanilla smell. There is a warm, earthy undertone (no idea what cashmere is supposed to smell like), but it works. Strong scent, wears off slowly. Also a nice body lotion. Keeper. 1) Camille Beckman French Vanilla – wonderful, smells like vanilla pudding and nothing else. The smell is not as strong as I hoped, but it’s also a nice lotion, not as oily as EOS.
