No scratching on paper & it's doesn't bleed ink onto the paper. I bought the colour blue for the exterior case & it looks very professional. Value for money is great. Solidly built with a fair amount of heft, this piston filling pen is finished well and looks great. Feels a bit back heavy posted and the nib/feed alignment could have been better. The long point fine nib is like the Sailor Zoom nib or Naginata-togi in shape and although fine on the down stroke, it is wide on the horizontal, the opposite of a stub nib. I think this could have been clearer in the description. I wish with hindsight I had ordered the standard fine but I shall persevere I am sure I will get used to it. I include a photo which I hope shows the variance in the nib compared to some others. Please excuse my scribble. A.T.
