Great portable kettle!
This little kettle is great. I love the temperature presets, even though I only use the boil temperature. It's nice to have other options. It only heats water for one mug at a time, but that is the point of a travel kettle. It's much smaller than my 32 oz water bottle, so it's easy to pack and take places. I wanted this specifically for a road trip I will be taking, and I want to be able to have tea and oatmeal and any other "just add hot water" meal options. It runs perfectly from my Jackery 1000 Power Bank. The power draw on it ranged from 280-290 watts, so the 300 watt power rating in the specs is very accurate. It's a great little kettle, and I hope it lasts for years. I like the solid construction and the fact that you can heat water and then put the lid on and use it as a thermos to keep the water hot for a while. It's also well insulated so it's not hot at all to the touch (on the top part) when the water has boiled and is ready to pour. The bottom part where the heating element is does get warm to the touch, but it doesn't feel super hot to where you could burn yourself. I'm very happy with the quality and build of this kettle.

Works great for travel
My boyfriend loves this for travel. He travels monthly for work and loves to make himself tea or americano in his hotel room but hates hotel coffee, so brings his own equipment and coffee. This has been perfect for his needs and he can’t imagine traveling without it anymore! It’s like the size of a large-ish water bottle, durable, and works easily. Great for travel or on-the-go needs!

Perfect for personal use! (Not designed for large quantities.)
This kettle has been a game changer for me! I take it to work, on vacation, anywhere! Cord is easy to remove and reattach as needed. Exterior never gets hot. Has shown great durability so far getting banged around in my work bag. The preset temps are very straightforward and useful. It heats evenly and quickly. I am extremely happy with the price for the value of this kettle. I try not to use it as a travel thermos if I can avoid it but when I have had to do so, there were no leaks. It's sleek and compact. It has a small reservoir, so it is definitely designed to make one drink at a time but that has not been an issue for my personal, solo use. I have also almost entirely avoided putting anything other than water in it so I can reduce cleaning. I did have to put coffee in it once and I believe some got into the ventilation on the lid. Because of this, it did get a gross smell quickly. I tried just scrubbing it with dish soap and hot water but that could not remove the smell. I ended up boiling lemon water in it and shaking it vigorously with the lid closed and that worked very well to clean it all! So don't waste your time trying to scrub anything. Just use its own features and some lemon juice to get it cleaned up and remove any odors.

Works well if you read the directions and follow them, but is a bit slow
First: Read the manual. It says not to put the cap on when boiling water. The people who say it overflowed when they took off the cap literally didn't follow the directions. Second: You don't need to set the temperature to 212 to boil water. The thermometer appears to lag behind the actual water temperature, I'm near sea level and it's boiling rigorously by the time it gets up to around 195 degrees on the front panel. Anyhow: the water capacity is about the size of a medium coffee mug. If you want to fill a large coffee mug you'll need a bigger travel kettle. It pulls 300 watts -- I measured it. So you can power it with a 300 watt inverter from your car battery, theoretically. And you won't blow a breaker in your hotel heating up water for tea. Which brings up the last problem: This thing takes 8 minutes to boil water. This slow boiling speed is the only reason I knock a star off. It's a function of the fact that it's using only 300 watts and the heating element is at the bottom of the kettle and the heat takes a while to move through the water. Still: It's a travel kettle. It's made to put in your luggage and be there when you need tea at the end of your trip. So 8 minutes is okay. Just a bit of a wait when you're waiting to boil water for your tea in your hotel in the morning. Oh well.

Road Warriors: Save time and money. Make your own coffee and tea.
This is, by far, one of my favorite new gadgets for travel. I am a “coffee snob” and whether I am home or traveling, I need my morning coffee to get going. I also enjoy tea in the evenings. I have gotten “stomach bugs” from using those icky hotel coffee makers. This kettle is a game changer. I pack Mount Hagen instant coffee packs (see separate review) and some of my own tea bags, and have recently packed some instant oatmeal, and this kettle is awesome. It’s compact, and fits in my roller bag (actually fits in that indentation where the handle slides into the bag!) I pack the teabags and coffee packets right into it to travel (saves more space when space is a commodity). The kettle comes up to temp rather quickly (I keep the lid off for safety), and I set before I jump into the shower. When I come out, the water is hot, and I can make my coffee. Great travel companion for road warriors who like their own beverages. Also, saves you a ton of money and time. I don’t have to look for a coffee shop when I am crunched for time, and where I am paying $6 for a burnt-tasting product.

Slick & great quality
Love that this is so compact for travel. Water heats up quick and I can drink out of it no problem. I just hope it would last a long time. It looks sturdy and of quality materials. I’m looking forward to taking this abroad to test the voltage change. My last one burnt and died abroad. Size mattered to me and this one is slightly smaller but significantly better in my opinion. I just wish there was more color options. Navy is still nice though.

Works but does not feel safe
Got this to heat up water in an office that I didn’t want to bring a kettle to. It does boil water pretty fast. 2 stars off because the vent holes at the top don’t seem functional. It’s unclear whether the lid should be put on tight, in which case pressure would build and steam will shoot out after boiling, or if it should be left loose, in which case you have essentially an open boiling cup of water connected to a super short power cable.

You will LOVE it!
Perfect for one mug of tea! I researched what felt like hundreds of kettles and picked two and ordered them. Compared those two and this was the clear and easy winner. It is UL certified which is very important for safety!! Boils water quickly, does not get hot to the touch. Nice looking, you will not be ashamed to have it sitting out on your counter! Fully closes to boil for safety and has an auto shut off feature to ensure it does not boil dry. There is no taste in the boiled water and is easy to clean. All of this for a great price! I was using a Keurig to get my hot water for tea. However, the unit is bulky and does NOT boil the water...so my tea experiences were not as good as they should have been. I highly recommend this kettle and would purchase without hesitation.
