Great strap for my compact camera.
This is very secure and the cables make it feel even better. I've not had any issues with the cables disconnecting but there is a knack to getting the fitting right.Easy to adjust to fit my wrist and the velcro is very useful. Obviously not tried to cut it but if it really is slash proof then it is perfect. Much better than the one supplied with the camera.

Not bad but best I could find.
Not as well made as I thought but will do the job of securing camera to my hand for selfies.

Beware
I thought that this was the perfect security strap for my Canon Powershot but last week the loop securing it to the camera failed and the camera fell to the ground in rough terrain. I was upset ,surprised & very disappointed because I have several Pacsafe products which I am very satisfied with. This strap was not cheap but I was prepared to pay the price to ensure my camera would be safe. But on the one day I needed it it failed.

Flawed one-size-fits-all design. Loop tightens to 21cm at most. Overpriced.
SIZEA. Good concept but the one-size-fits-all approach is flawed. I suspect it's for men's size Medium to Large. When the loop that tightens does so, the most it can close is 21cm. It should come in Small, Medium, Large and XL. Better still, the tightening loop should itself have an adjustable strap tightener or clip buckle (both as per ordinary carry straps) to set your own preferred distance; that way Pacsafe need still only make it as one-size-fits-all. Pacsafe's design testing would've revealed this unless they based it all on the one employee, Mr Chunky Giant.B. 21cm is not tight enough for me, but I'm glove size Ladies' Small (actually I'd be Ladies Extra Small if they made it). The other end of the scale would be Gentlemen's Extra Large. For many people it would stop a camera etc falling off the wrist but it wouldn't FEEL secure. However it's better than my Canon camera's wrist strap which wouldn't be tight on Goliath's wrist or even on Mr C. Giant's.C. I don't believe this strap is worth the eye-watering price. I bought this strap thinking that 27 quid was worth it in the long-term to save irreplaceable photos; for that reason, I'm a bit paranoid about getting photos backed up asap. However, a bit of home surgery could improve the strap: either rigging the strap so that the tightening loop is made smaller, but the best way is probably to cut it, shorten an end and sew it back on.LOOP TIGHTENING IN ACTIONIn addition, the strap doesn't always automatically tighten immediately. It'll do so quite quickly if your object is hanging straight downwards, your item is heavy and the drop is very sudden; otherwise not so much, because the strap is fabric which by its nature has built-in friction. After I tried the strap I realised just how staged Pacsafe's Y ouTube demo is.HOW TO FASTEN THE TETHERWhen you open the packaging (which is unnecessarily awkward), at first it looks Packsafe has wound the wire tether unnecesarily through and around, and it takes a while to undo. But it actually indicates the most secure method of fastening your camera or other object, because at some point you need to put the tether around so that part is fastened underneath the piece that closes with velcro. This helps distribute weight a bit more.
