Ordered a size larger than I usually wear, and the fit was great. And they look very nice on. A little roomy in the leg, but overall they look great on. Can't wait to wear them out.

These shoes are super sexy!!! My colleagues gave me compliments all day. Everyone was staring and I know it's because these shoes look so good and different. You will not see the whole neighborhood in these. They're not as comfortable as I would like them to be but a pair of Dr. Scrolls will do. When you wear these, you're going to feel sexy. Strut and twirl baby because that's how these shoes will make you feel. Twirl on!!!!

Not for wide calves or wearing for a night. Shoes are gorgeous and make a statement. Sadly, they're just not meat for wider calves. No platform on the shoes either, so I couldn't wear them without pain. I can wear heels all night with a platform. Fits true to size, the 6.5 is truly a 6.5, if you're between a 6.5 and 7 get the 7

These sandals are really awesome! I almost went with a 7 to be safe, but decided to just order the 6.5 which is my actual size, and they fit exactly right! A little loose for my calves, but mine are skinny and they probably wouldn't fit someone with large muscular calves. They also don't droop at all at the top, which I was worried about. The only concern I would say is that due to being folded in the packaging, if the straps aren't tight against your legs, they will be slightly bent/folded/warped (not sure what the right word is), but it isn't noticeable unless you're looking closely.

As soon as I walked outside in the shoes BOTH heels broke by the time I got to my car!!! I'm not a "heavy" woman... I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs(slim), so this is horrible. Don't waste your money. The shoes are poorly crafted, with random glue and strings at the base of the shoes.

Here's the deal with these shoes. If you have skinny or slender calves/lower legs, the straps are NOT going to fit snugly as they appear in the pictures. Those loops are not spandex or have spandex attachments, they are basically leather, so they do not stretch or conform to the legs. Unless you have the perfectly designed leg for these shoes, they will hang off your leg like over-sized boots. Vice versa, if you are a bigger girl with really thick legs, you're probably not going to squeeze into them too comfortably. The materials used are good materials, they just suffer from a fundamental design flaw by not having those leg loops expand or compress via spandex-like ability. Also, I had to return mine because of a defect. The left ankle strap you adjust to fit your leg, was cut 1/2 the require length, making the studs not even line up correctly when laced without even a foot wearing the shoes (straight outa the box broke).The knee strap suffers from the same exact defective design as the lower leg loops, it's just effectively a leather belt that 'hangs' oddly around your knee with the option to 'belt it' via notches tighter, but not something you can really do since the knee naturally flexes. Again, why they designed all these elaborate loops that don't stretch or hold snug to the leg or knee in a flexible manner IS BEYOND ME!So when you pull these outa the box, they've been slightly reshaped (the loops) from their own weight, and since they are going to be 'big' and hang off most legs, appear odd. God these would be so awesome if they had used spandex somewhere in the process. The shoe part fits as expected so order your normal size and you should be good. They fit perfect in that regard and the support was great. The last complaint was the fact that these shoes appear pure white, and that's what I ordered, but what showed up was NOT pure white. It was an off-white vanilla like white instead. Not at all like the images online. They still looked nice, but did not match the 100% white other articles of clothing I purchased them to go with!So I returned them for a refund. I've considered re-purchasing them, and if no ankle defect, re-cobbling them with the above modifications to make them awesome. What stopped me was the fact that they weren't sized in my color, and the white wasn't the white pictured and desired.

I really liked these sandals as a part of the costume for a toga party in white and gold. I bought size 9 in gold. My feet are average in all dimensions, and my height is 5'7", and sandals fit right and end in the right place, right above the knee. The zipper was not smooth in the beginning but I touched it with a candle wax (the old trick), and it works just fine now. With synthetic material they made of, you cannot expect the perfect fit everywhere in your leg. If your legs are skinny, and you are petite, the fit may be an issue. To dance in sandals for a couple of hours was not a problem. They are fun!

Love these gladiators, however your calf has to be the right size to pull them off, they are SUPER AMAZINGLY CUTE!! So sad I had to send them back, with my calf being to small to fill them in :( I really LOVE the hassle free, very easy return process :) Thanks AMAZON!
