Dill Cucumber Salad : I was give a packet of this by a friend. It is in German. What are the instructions in English with American eqivilents.

Knorr Salat Krönung Dill-Herbs: Seasoning for Cucumber or Herbed Salad. Empty contents of one packet into a bowl. Add 1 Tablespoon water and 3 Tablespoons Oil (i.e., Mazola) - no need to add vinegar - and mix well. If serving with lettuce, use 3 Tablespoons water and be sure to dry your lettuce leaves well before adding the dressing. Serves 2-4 with a medium cucumber or salad.PS. I myself don't use the instrustioncs - I just add 3 TBLS. of white wine to the mix in a bottle and shake it well. Don't care much for the oily flavor just love the clean taste of the mixture I use. Hope this helps!

How many cucumbers will it dress per packet? Also, can you let it marinate overnight or is it best the day it is made? Thanks!

I've never marinated it O/N. I think it might not stay crisp. I'd say a whole packet would easily do an entire cucumber and possibly a bit more. I usually make it an hour or so before we are planning to eat it. Most of the time, I use half of a packet with 1 1/2 T. water and 1 1/2 T. olive oil and about half to 3/4 of a cucumber for 2 people.

Is the Dill-Krauter available in the larger (2.3L)pack. Last year I purchased 1 from Amazon and would like to purchase another.

It is no longer available in the container size, since Unilever discontinued it.

My apologies. I meant to ask if you are to peel the cucumber or not peel it. Thank you all!

I have done it both ways. If you don’t peel be sure the cucumber is sliced very thin. I prefer peeled though. Hope this helps.
