HIGH5 Recovery Drink, Protein Powder & Electrolytes, Banana & Vanilla,1.6kg

Update 29/01/2025. Since High5 changed the formula of the normal version, I've steered clear. But I tried the plant based version and its almost like thr original. I always use High5 nutrition, you literally can't go wrong and its wallet friendly. This recovery drink mixes well and tastes ok. It's not as good as the chocolate flavour, but still very nice with skimmed milk. I like the fact there are no sweeteners, you try and find another protein shake that doesn't use them!

Tastes great and does a brilliant job helping recovery time after a hard training session. Mixes well and does not sit in the stomach. Great product and suits my needs perfectly (although may have a little too much carbohydrate content for those who want max protein intake).

So far tried chocolate and that's a 5 star product. Love the chocolate version. Went to buy another tub but none were in stock so tried banana and vanilla. Odd taste to it but it does the job and you quickly get used to it. Probably wouldn't buy it again unless other flavours, like chocolate, were out of stock.

Good product and easy to drink with water or milk for that extra protein gain .

The new and improved forumla tastes very different to the old one. The old one tastes very similar to banana but the new one is tastes more of protein powder than banana. Consistency when mixed with milk is also different and thicker.

Don’t try mixing with water - tastes foul. Mixed with milk pretty pleasant. Probably chocolate best, then berry then banana but all fine. Or why not go wild and mix the two: chocbanana and berry banana my personal recommendation for a protein cocktail

I have tried the berry and chocolate flavours of the High5 Recovery drink, which tasted fine and both had a good consistency to them. The banana & vanilla option, however, is horrible. I can't fathom how it passed any taste tests? Mixing it with 400ml water as recommended results in an extremely watery drink, with only a hint of banana and/or vanilla. Substituting water for milk makes little difference. The lack of flavour or consistency automatically makes you wonder if it's actually worth bothering with - am I actually drinking the product or not? Either try the other flavours, or go for Science in Sport's Rego recovery drink. Both options are more palatable than this!

Had started to run out of this after using it after every game of Football. It tastes great, mixes really easily and is in my opinion good value

Bestes Recover Produkt auf dem Markt. Sehr wirksam und vor allem verträglich. Mein Magen dreht gerne mal durch 😄 Ich empfehle ebenfalls Gele von High5 👍

Auch dieses Produkt von High 5 zur Regeneration ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man kann das Pulver entweder mit Wasser oder mit Milch mischen (meine Empfehlung). Schmeckt lecker und der Regenenerationseffekt speziell nach langen Läufen oder harten Laufwettbewerben ist schnell spürbar.
