Wow. This is indeed a gorgeous art book. I am using it for watercolour and mixed media. It stands up well unless you involve a pen or sharp pencil and then it seems to give way under the strain if it is a little damp. No matter. It comes in a lovely box to keep it neat. This is the perfect journal/book for anyone wanting something that is portable, can be used for small or large works that extend off one page and can be stored away neatly.Recommended. I will buy more.

this was perfect fo a sketch book for a travel holiday. I left the container at home to limit the weight.

There's a lot of pages. Good quality paper. It can handle mixed media (watercolour, acrylic, gouache, ink etc.) though it does warp the paper a little bit once the paint has dried. It's better for painting than sketching; it does not handle pencils very well. Sturdy hard covers and the slip keeps it protected. Overall, worth the money for any art student.

This A5 concertina sketch book is just right for travelling, is well made and has a slip cover to keep it together.

Tengo que decir que aun no lo he estrenado! Así que me falta saber si funciona bien con las acuarelas. El cuaderno de dibujo es un acordeón de piel bien encuadernado. De forma que se puede utilizar por delante y por detrás. La calidad de los materiales parece buena. La terminación también. Estoy contenta y deseando usarlo para ver el resultado de los colores.
