Excellent quality; for the price ,probably the best furnace out there. Heats silver to melting point in approximately 10 minutes.

The oven itself is pretty amazing, the burner is very powerful, even at approximately 1/4 to 1/3 open it melted copper in 12 to 15 minutes. The only issue I had was with the crucible, mind you I have bought and used about 1 dozen crucibles at this time over 3 years and over 1000 pours. This is the first crucible I have ever had fail, and it failed three melts in. First two pours went flawlessly, on the last melt I attempted, the crucible cracked and leaked out about 1 pound copper into the bottom of the oven. Luckily I did coat the kaowool so it will clean out fairly easily.

Seems to work well and is a good value.

I'm new to this and happy I selected this furnace. Works perfectly for me.

It was working fine for the first 2 melts. Out of no where and on the same setting the smelter gas hose started to burn and it’s either deteriorated our burned inside. A complete waste of money

This smelter is great for those just getting in to the smelting world. It heats well and crucible has been holding up well. As another reviewer mentioned, it would be best to prepare the wool blanket with a rigidizer of some type before using it.

Easy to set up and works perfectly. The regulator could be better but for the price it's a non-issue.

The ceramics was cracked when I opened the package, no return policy.
