Golden Ball And Other Stories, The (Agatha Christie Mysteries Collection (Paperback))

good book

As with some reissues of Agatha Christie's work, this repeats some of her stories published before under another title. However, a most enjoyable read as always from this author.

Good product in excellent condition on arrival - so excellent value for money. An easy to pick up book with short stories which can read on a short journey and easy to keep in your pocket or bag. It's agatha christie so you know you'll get a good story without the hysterics!

Love Agatha Christie, and there are some here I didn’t know. However, I bought this after it came up on a search for “Large Print” books. This is NOT large print.

This was a very good selection of short stories taken from several books. Ideal for holidays.

good but poor quality cover

Look forward to reading

Great read

thanks again for a good read

I liked The variety of human experiences, The clear, crisp, vivid writing that carries you along, The suspense, The interesting characters, The various plots, True to life.

This is an interesting collection of Agatha Christie’s short stories. It starts with love stories and eventually gets to supernatural fiction and ends on a more poignant story. This is not a collection of mystery tales, but it was interesting to me to see the range of the prolific Christie’s writing.

always good

Great book. I read the stories when I need a little lift. I have been carrying a copy around for 20 years. Then I was going to loan it to someone and it was gone. I probably loaned it out. So I got another copy! Now I'm okay. I can read the wonderful little stories that always end exactly like you want them to (with a nice plot and interesting characters) and you feel better about everything. More entertaining and less costly than a therapist or anti-depressants. If you like cozy mysteries and stories, definitely buy this.
