Mango Seed Butter: Light Yet Deeply Moisturising Protection for Dry Skin
The Soapery's Mango Butter is a user-friendly natural ingredient that I’ve enjoyed experimenting with. It has a very subtle aroma, which makes it easy to blend with other oils and fragrances without overpowering them. People expecting the sweet, fruity, exotic scent of mango might be disappointed. This is mango seed butter, and its scent is quite different from that of the fruit - fresh and tart, vaguely reminiscent of new grass in springtime. It’s a clean, slightly piquant aroma. The butter's pure white colour is a sign of its refined, clean nature. In terms of texture, Mango Butter is very easy to incorporate with other ingredients. It is about as hard as shea butter and unlike some rich butters, Mango Butter remains smooth and stable, avoiding that undesirable grainy texture that can develop when some butters are heated and cooled. This stability makes it ideal for use in skin and hair products. From a moisturising perspective, Mango Butter has some advantages. I initially tried it for hair care but I wasn't in love with the results on my fine, wavy hair. It has a waxy quality, which, despite what I'd read, seemed to be too heavy for my hair. Although this will not be an issue with all hair types and textures, Mango butter didn't provide the manageability or frizz control I was looking for in a conditioning butter. However, it is rich in emollient fatty acids which deeply hydrate, soften, and protect my dry skin. Mango butter feels light, non-greasy and a bit waxy - absorbing well without leaving a heavy or greasy residue. It is considered non-comedogenic, so it’s unlikely to clog pores. as long as it's used in moderation. This makes it a good choice for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin, though if your skin is oily, I don't think it will suit you. I like how it performs in combination with Tallow, Jojoba, Olive Squalane and Rosehip oils. My skin feels nourished, comfortable and hydrated all day with mango butter in my routine. It seems to have a slight brightening effect and to contribute longer lasting dewiness and moisturisation. I think at £7.99 for 250g, this Mango Butter offers really good value for money. It may well become a staple in my winter skincare routine. I anticipate incorporating in into hand cream and lip balms for protection against the winter weather.

Highly recommended
Live saver for my very dry skin during cold months. I always melt it and mix with coconut oil, castor oil and rose essential oil.

Good
Good but have little hard dots that milts with heat , the absorption is fantastic, light weight , although if you have dry skin, you need to add more to it the butter it self wont be enough

Muss man halt wissen..
