How many days will it last outside of fridge once opened?** A: Hello. No refrigeration necessary. I kept mine on the worktop. It's just like a wine box. I would fill empty bottles and refrigerate them, but only because I wanted my water cold. On how long will it keep fresh? Well I'm not sure about that, but as you use it, the bladder inside collapses upon itself, so that it should by rights keep for ages. Certainly long enough for us (two people). This is probably the best still water, in my opinion. Glad to see it's back! **Q: how does this work? is it like a wine box with a tap?** A: Yes. Excellent product. Been using it for years. It has a foil bag inside the box. The tap is attached to that and feeds out of the box so it's easy to use. Can squeeze the foil bag at the end to get the last drop of water. Tastes good too! **Q: Is the plastic that holds the water BPA free?** A: As I understand it BPA is the main component of polycarbonate, the hard, clear plastic sometimes used to make hard bottles. This is a large cardboard box which has a soft, probably polythene bag inside it with a tap. The same as that used in wine boxes. However I am not an expert, but I am personally not worried. **Q: WHY? has the price of this product suddenly gone from £4.75 up to £8.19?** A: I was not aware that there has been such a significant price increase.
