Review: Constant Shedder! - I’ve given this five stars just for its quality. It is well made. Looks fabulous and feels lovely and soft on your bare feet! My only issue is that it constantly sheds fibres, which get transferred to other areas quite easily, so the vacuum cleaner is getting a good work out! Vacuuming the rug itself, using the recommended nozzle attachment, also gives me a good work out! I think that these flokati rugs are one of those things that should be used for aesthetic purposes only! The look and feel great but I think that they aren’t really practical for walking on!

**Q: I am wanting ones for my settees. Is the pile short & thick or long & wispy & tapers to fine?**
A: The pile on a flokati rug ( I must have bought about 10 over the years) when new is quite long and wispy and very soft a bit like thick human hair however the reason I buy so many is because I have dogs who
love to sleep on a flokati rug and it fits in with my decor and of course I wash my flokati rug regularly and then with each wash they get thicker and more dense and the pile gets shorter but still look good I think.

**Q: How do you clean /wash it?**
A: Hello, these rugs can be washed in the bath with luke warm water and a little mild detergent.  Drip dry them on the line.  However , as the wool still has its natural oils, most of the time you just need to give the rugs a good shake outside and the dust will come off.

**Q: If I am not happy with the rug am I able to return and have the return shipping costs refunded please?**
A: I presume so as most things from Amazon can be returned

**Q: How can i find out if this is fire retardant? i suspect its highly flammable and i need to check. thank you.**
A: In fact, wool is naturally flame retardant. It does not ignite easily, burns with a self-extinguishing flame, and forms a soft dissipating ash residue.  Compare that with synthetic fibres which form a hard, molten bead residue with melt-drip behaviour.  Many, so-called flokati rugs are made from synthetic fibres, usually of Chinese origin.

I’ve given this five stars just for its quality. It is well made. Looks fabulous and feels lovely and soft on your bare feet!
