Excellent method for cheap mobile 4g internet - just pop one of these into your mifi device and connect all your stuff! Make sure that your iPhone doesn't download an IOS update over wifi however as it will be used up pretty quickly!

Great! Once I knew what to do, was up and running really quickly. I have an iPhone SE. Turn phone off. Insert the SIM. Turn phone on. Disable your home Wi-fi from your Phone Settings. Open browser on your phone and it will take you to a Registration page. Fill in your details to register. (Your phone number is on the SIM packaging). Click the Activate Button. It should then update with what package you bought. Done!

So far l have had no problems it does what l wanted it for. It is only data so you cant ring unless it Whatapp Skype but that what l was using it for. Setting it up was not to bad and l had already read reviews so l know it would say no credit but once you do what your asked it there. I did not register l went straight to activate, this was what was on the sim when it arrived.

It's nice to now see how to activate the data (which EE advised me could not be activated) in reviews here on Amazon. BUT this does not help you when you are unable to connect to the Internet to see said reviews. IF you decide to buy these cards here, PRINT OUT the instructions provided in other reviews and take them with you so you might get access to your data. I purchased two of these cards for my wife and I so we could communicate during a holiday to London. Activation failed and we spent the first day trying to find an EE store to sort it out. We spent that day living it up like the 80's and actually enjoyed being mobile-free, arranging to meet at certain times and places and having back-up plans if we missed our rendezvous (which we did). We and the kids liked that old style. But that doesn't solve the problem here, and so I visited an EE store the following morning. The staff in the store were superb and quickly got on the phone to EE to sort it out, only to be told that the cards were not able to be activated and should be returned to Amazon for a refund. We bought new cards in store and these were immediately working. I won't bother with the refund process because it's too much jumping through hoops for £16. Lesson learned, some times it's better to not try to be so organised and have cards like this sent to you in advance of a trip. Just pick up a card in a store at your arrival station or airport and save the run-around.

I am very pleased with this SIM card. It's been everything I wanted it to be. The coverage of EE is excellent in a place in the UK where I has almost completely unable to get any kind of signal with another major provider. Recommend this. But read the other reviews, especially if you intend international use, or are coming to the UK and intend to use it here, or abroad.

Packaging: Fine, it fit through the letterbox. A sticker over a sticker on the package made me think they might have downsized the sim size though Product: Could only get one of the two sims to work. I believe the other was faulty. This is why I rated it only 3 stars. Effect: The one that does work; works fine and the data lasted well enough for a two week holiday. Great for the price top-up as required, well recommended.

I might have missed it but...even though the SIM is preloaded with 2gb of data you still have to top up with EE to activate the card. Minimum £5, which incidentally doesn’t give you anymore data. In case you’re wondering the sim arrived in the post today, but according to EE the phone number was in ‘hibernation’ for some reason.

Was on the fence about purchasing due to bad reviews but tried my luck and glad I did! Bought two 2GB SIM cards. I originally tried to activate the cards here in the US but the online service does not give the option to activate the purchased data. I was again slightly worried, but still took them on my trip. Upon arrival in Germany, going to the site, add-on.ee.co.uk, now provided the "Activate" option on the pre-loaded data. Success! I was able to use my phone with 4G connection in all of Germany and Switzerland. No issues whatsoever. My partner was also able to add data on the fly by purchasing an extra 2GB for about $8, excellent deal! Here is also a plus: In Switzerland the data usage completely stopped tracking. I'm not sure if this is a feature or if there is a bug in their data tracking through the Switzerland carrier (Swisscom), but I was able to have UNLIMITED data in Switzerland! Would definitely recommend these SIM cards for Europe travels. Much faster speeds (4G) compared to friends that had T-Mobile overseas service added to their plan. Worked well our 14 day trip to Berlin, Germany and Hamburg, Germany. Signal strength was consistently good for chat, internet browsing, and YouTube. Sim card can only be activated after leaving the US. SIM does not work in the US.
