Tortoise Habitat House Indoor Outdoor, 3-Room Wooden Turtle Enclosure Reptile Cage with Shelf Storage, Balcony & 2 Stories for Small Animals

This was easy to assemble — I did it on my own in just a few minutes. I initially thought it seemed a little flimsy, but once everything was in place it felt sturdy enough. I wouldn’t lift it with the weight of the substrate and everything in there, but for basic indoor use it’s fine. I did add gorilla (duct) tape at the edges of the trays to keep them from being moved by accident as well as to seal the edges — since I use eco-earth as substrate, I didn’t want it sifting over the edge onto the runners or the table underneath. One thing to keep in mind is that the light support brace keeps the main door from opening if the cage is close to a wall, so it either needs to have several inches clearance behind it or be able to be moved forward easily whenever the lid has to be lifted. Our tortoise acted thrilled with his new digs as soon as I moved him in. He explored every inch multiple times, and the kids said they didn’t remember the last time they saw him so active!

The enclosure is easy enough to put together. However, it was far too small for my Russian tortoise. He almost drove me crazy running back and forth along the walls scratching. Today I built one on my own for a similar price for the wood I needed. More than twice the area and a happy tortoise. So if you're thinking about this one be sure it's big enough for the animal you're planning to house in it.

The habitat was bought for a Christmas gift for my daughters tortoise. It did not get assembled till end of January. In the month we have had it being used the post used to hold the lights broke, the habitat wood is already showing signs of cracks! While the habitat was easy to assemble, my husband could not get it squared. Which is important so that both tops pieces can open properly.ADDED: We are totally surprised to have Geguri Co reach out to us with a replacement habitat. Improvements to the habitat have been made and new instructions on how to properly square the habitat. This company has great customer service.

The media could not be loaded.  It is extremely easy to put together. Holes for Screws fit nicely. Holds heat well. The only problem is the middle board on bottom does not sit flush so it rocks on hard floor. On rug or cardboard works well. Works nicely for chicks too . It was bigger than expected. Overall it was well worth the money . I wanted it for a brooder house . I love it . It did have an odor . Open outside and assemble .

Easy to build took less than 15min spacious for my tortoise when he has to be indoors

I have 4 of these types of enclosures and this one is totally made cheap. There are no pre drilled holes and the sides do not line up evenly so bedding comes out of the sides. You diffently get what you pay for on this. I would not recommend purchasing. The screen is barely attached to the lid as well.

This was incredibly easy to put together. Our Russian tortoise absolutely loves it. There’s so much room for him to maneuver such a great purchase.
