I have a lot of thick, heavy curls and go through conditioner fast. I rinse and condition my hair daily, even if I don’t shampoo every day. It’s herbal and fresh, with rosemary coming through the most. I get compliments on it constantly. People will ask if it’s me that smells so good, even just walking into a room or getting a hug. I really wanted to like this conditioner. I have dry hair with low porosity that is situated uncomfortably between curly and wavy, and I was looking for an alternative to the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree line which I cannot afford right now. The good: the Mielle feels absolutely luscious! My hair felt like absolute silk while washing, the scent was lovely without being overpowering and my hair dried in a reasonable amount of time. The bad: it made my hair heavy. Maybe the problem was me, maybe I used too much, but the residual oils left on my hair was decidedly unpleasant. Again, maybe this was user error, or maybe it simply wasn't a match for my hair, either way, it's not working out for me, but I really wanted to like it.
