All you need to know!
£14.99 for a paperback book is a little steep, but it’s the best cook book I have ever bought & I have 100’s.I actually can’t believe the result, far better than any Indian restaurant or takeaway product. Bit of work making the base gravy & pre cooking your meat, but so worth the effort.Only problem is, a weekend takeaway is never good enough anymore.

Curry Lovers Bible
I'm a little late to the party with this book but boy am I glad I stumbled across it. I've made so much from it and everything works out. The Curry to Go gravy base is my fave and makes the most authentic tasting BIR madras - yum! The onion bhajis are wonderful too which is essential as the first stage in the journey of cracking 'that taste' is the oil - oil you save after cooking the bhajis. Great job Julian.

The results are fabulous and I'm pleased to say that the more you practice the better ...
This is really is a must for anyone looking to replicate that famous British Indian Restaurant taste. The book works well for beginners or those with more experience. The results are fabulous and I'm pleased to say that the more you practice the better they get. Julian provides the perfect insight into the basic techniques, which once mastered, can be used to create your own versions of these classic recipes. Buy and enjoy..

Video links missing, book appears to be outdated which is a big shame as it was getting interesting
I was prepared for some good writing here and no pictures to pad it out, and that’s what I got. It’s a thin tomb for the money but I was interested more in receiving succinct but invaluable information. I came cross some excellent tips whilst reading, but whilst I was reading I began to notice errors and omissions. There were reasons given for the odd leaving out of various items, but then my heart sank when it came to the links for youtube videos. Where are the important ones…making up a mix, watching the Chicken Madras being made? I am returning the book purely on the basis that these videos, particularly the Madras video are missing. What a letdown. At least update your book. No I don’t wish to and shouldn’t have to join your classes to get the latest video update if there is one. You should keep on top of things. Disappointed.

poor quality - content not worth the money
The book looked promising in its description, but when i received it, the content has literally been printed off a website - it is badly laid out and confusing to navigate, i was really disappointed because for a £14.99 retail i was expecting a bit more - the writing is huge which is what takes up most of the space in the book. if the font was a standard size it would be more of the thickness of a pamphlet. Don't waste your money on this.
