Can this be used with a retinol product?

I don’t know much about retinol but I am aware it can cause redness, skin peeling, dryness and other irritation in the first weeks of use, or in high concentration products. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend combining with this Aveda moisturiser unless you have extremely hardy, non-sensitive skin, and even then I’d recommend choosing a more sensitive moisturiser. This Aveda product has some powerful essential oils and other ingredients that can cause flare up in sensitive skin. It also has no SPF.
