I've purchased several different laser tape measures. Often, I find they are good value. My last one was Alkaline battery and so frustrating. It had a mind of its own when trying to turn it on so I needed to replace. The one before that (unfortunately I dropped it in water) was lithium and had no issues. Made sure the third one I purchased would be lithium. While a slightly different design than the first one I owned, it works much the same. Measuring plasterboard, my metal beads, room dimensions are tasks that become a lot less frustrating with this good quality and functional tool.

I was a bit unsure at first as it had been returned many times. Bought this as a Chritsmas Present for my sister who builds and constructs and relies on accuracy. Its easy to use, the tape is smooth, its 5m, so that's good, it also has a memory and cubic measuring setting, she I loves it.

Incredibly useful, especially if you do a lot of work on your own. Getting any kind of distance measurement is made instantly easier. So far I’ve found it completly accurate. I’ve charged it once from new and been using it for a month so far and the batter is still fine (obviously this will vary depending on usage) - but it does auto power off if left so it’s not just draining battery on its down. Easy to use too - my only gripe is it shows ONLY CM’s. I was bought up doing work in inches so the conversion has been a bit of a tricky one for me. If that’s not a concern this tape is great.

Bought this as a gift for husband who is constantly misplacing tape measure, he loves it it so much he now puts it away in a sensible place where it can be located, does what it says on the tin, handy tool

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. It lasted well but inevitably broke as I use it all day every day. I tried other options, sent them back and bought this one again because it's the best.

Having the tape measure on the opposite side of the laser makes it hard to use. I keep fumbling when trying to place it in areas. The tape measure also is completely analog, it doesn't show on the LCD screen. Plus, the thing has a weird shape, so its hard to keep it straight when measuring

I used it to measure wall to wall and wall to ceiling and it was very accurate. I also played with it a bit, testing the other options it has like calculating area and volume and that seems simple and accurate also. Has a good, rugged, feel to it like it will survive in a toolbox!
