At this price point this is a really good pair of binoculars. They are really compact, easy to focus and set up to your eyesight requirements. My only gripe is that the middle focus wheel is quite sensitive so a slight brush past the wheel and the focus shifts. Other than that, a great buy. Well worth the price paid.

Just wanted something small to fit in my pocket to incase I spotted any birds while out walking the dog. I am not a serious bird watcher so they are perfect for my needs. Very happy with them, they feel a nice weight & are clear.

I find them a good product well made easy to use and focus also a compact size.

Although Bushnells I thought I was taking a risk because of the low price but I needn't have worried. I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised at the performance of these binoculars. The intention was to keep them for rough use in my works truck but they are to good for that and have been promoted to my fishing bag.

Optically excellent. Tried a cheap pair for half the price. Half as good. No chromatic aberration and an excellent field of view. Solid with precision focusing. Very pleased and they have a twenty year warranty. Second pair purchased.

This review is for the 8x21 clam version of the Bushnell compacts. It has the company name in metal color on the side of the binocs'tubes. It seems Amazon has merged this item with the (older?) 8x21 compacts with the company name in rubber relief. I believe there is a substantial difference between the two items, especially in dimensions. I bought these binocs for 14USD, and I do not think they are worth more. The current price for a factory demo version at the amazon.com is about 21USD, but it also occurs for less under Bushnell 8x21 compact, but then it is not clear which version it is. Pros: Very small and lightweight. I'd say up to 15% smaller than most other 8x21 compact binocs. Comfortably wide field of view. Does not give feeling of peeping through a hole. Reasonably sharp in center part of image at distances less than 100m. Correct color rendition. Robust and more "expensive" feel than the average compact binocs. Reasonably priced. Pouch included. Cons: Despite the wide field of view it is only the absolute center of the image that has any useful sharpness to the image. In addition, the glass gives an "uneven" image somewhat similar to looking through the bottom of a glass bottle. This is, however, not so bad that it renders the binocs useless. They work pretty well at shorter distances for objects centered in the image. The focus wheel tend to be less responsive. When shifting the focus direction of the wheel there is a lag until the image responds to the turn of the wheel. This makes the binocs less useful for observing non-stationary objects such as birds. In conclusion I'd say they are pretty OK for the price I paid. I love the small size, makes me bring them along in my bag to and from work every day. I would, however, not have anything against paying 3-4 times that money for the same binocs if the producer could put better glass in them [I read somewhere that they have BK-7, most mid-price binocs have BAK-4, I don't know if that would make any improvement. However, better glass would give a quite nice set of very compact binocs well worth a little more bucks]. In fact, there is a big jump in price (and unfortunately often also in size) between the ultra-cheap 8x21 binocs on the market (usually 10-20USD) until the next level above (usually (>80USD).

This product is for rookies and best value for money for this category. I dont have much experience about binocular but this helps and the price is perfect for that use.

I'm a big fan of cheap monoculars and binoculars and have collected dozens over the years. These are the BEST binoculars in the compact low-cost category. Really, there are no high-quality/expensive super compact/folding binoculars but these Bushnells are as good as it gets. I take these out cycling so I can check out wildlife, so I must have the double-folding style. They have excellent image quality - crisp and clear. There's a tiny bit of blurring around the edge but you really have to look for it. There's also a bit of fisheye which you may notice as you move around but I think that's due to the relatively high power/small lens combination and it's acceptable given the price point. The build quality is very good and focusing is steady and accurate. The diopter works well and allows you to really dial in your individual eye setting. I've had binoculars in this price/size point and even more expensive that don't give nearly as good images. The rubber armoring is excellent. If you're looking for extremely compact binoculars with low price, these can't be beat.

El otro dia estive en una jugueteria de prestigio en Madrid y encontré muchos juguetitos relacionados con la astronomia y fotografia. A precios astronomicos, de juguete, claro. Bueno, puie esto, por 25 euros no es ningun juguete. Tiene el tamaño de uso de un niño de 8 años y es una maquina de verdad, con acabados de verdad, optica de verdad y resultados de verdad, no de juguete, todo por menos de 30 euros.

Can never go wrong with Bushnell binoculars or scopes.
