I ordered one size larger and they fit very nicely, even with heavy socks on. The boots look like real leather and durable. I ordered theses boots to replace the one pair that I had for over 20 years. **Q: Is this men’s or women’s size?** A: Nieither. Child size. The calf is slim. **Q: what is the calf circumference of this boot?** A: Too small! You can't even get your foot into it! **Q: 1 Big Kids doesn't make sense. Our daughter wears Kid's size 4 or 4.5 which size should order?** A: You would order a size 4.5 in this boot as well. Un acquisto inutile. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Waterproof Boots *by K***6 on 28 October 2021* I bought these when I started taking riding lessons and they’ve served their purpose for sure. I wear them for my daughter’s lessons too so that when I help her groom and tack and take horses to and from their stalls/paddocks I don’t have to worry so much where I step. They’re sturdy. I have 12.5” calves and these are very very roomy in that area so they would definitely accommodate larger calves. They’re not bad for beginning riding, but I am going to be purchasing some paddock boots and chaps because these do restrict my ankle movement in the stirrups and the heel isn’t quite tall enough to prevent my foot from slipping through the stirrup.
