Review: Buy it. - Keeps water clear n clean, very easy to use, weekly cleaning is a breeze with the handle that squeezes the inner sponges. Can't comment on a dismantled clean as not needed 1 yet. Very pleased with this same as always am with all pond solutions product.
Review: Ideal and effective for small medium ponds - I built a new 500 litre pond, added 5 gold fish with a water fall pump. Within a week water started going green. Obviously the pump filter wasn’t effective. Shopped and found this on desertcart. Next day delivery. Instructions were not great for someone who is good with DIY. However, installed within an hour to realise that there was no noise from the filter when turned on. I am wondering is the filter working or not? For those who purchase this item- it does not make any noise as the pump does the work of getting the water in and out. You will notice a little blue light which is the UV. Within two days the water was clear but the surface and walls still had a green tinge. I purchased Blagdon green away for ponds and added the required dose and left it for another 3 days. Started to see very clear water. The week end, I gave the pond a little scrub and changed 10% water with weekly Blagdon treatment with the filter on 24/7 and the pond is crystal clear. Mind you I am a noob to ponds. Would highly recommend the filter for a small medium size pond.
