A great tool for art
I bought this glue gun for my A-level art, and so far it has not failed me. When it arrived I got it straight out and put the detachable stand on and had a go. It does take a little while to warm up, but it was the first time I used it so that was to be expected. Other than that it's great, and the 50 glue sticks included were a great deal and will last a good long while, which is good for my A-level art projects. Over all a great product.

Wrong description of compatible glue sticks.
Ordered this gun for some small crafts and the glue sticks it says it's compatible with, code 698462 sticks. They DO NOT fit in the gun, don't buy the bundle because you will not be able to use the thicker sticks in the gun. Check the diameter size of the 2 sticks that come with the gun and try to order the right diameter to use.Despite this little mistake in description, the gun does its job well, its small and can only fault it for a short cable, making it truly a small crafts tool, not so good if you need to move it around to glue a big project.

Silverline Glue Gun
I sent for this when the cable fractured on my old one (since repaired) which did not have a trigger, so you had to use both hands to hold it and push the glue stick through.It works well but seems to take a little longer to heat up, though it gets there in the end. For the price it is excellent value and despite the postal delays before Christmas I received it within 3 days.

Terrible
Recommended glue sticks were the wrong size . Sorted that out and seemed at first to work well enough but now the glue sticks just melt in the chamber . Glue everywhere! Absolutely useless waste of money. Now having to buy something else. Also the cord is far too short

Hotter than most, easy to use.
It warns up faster than similar units, and is light and simple to use. It also has a metal nozzle, not plastic, which is more reliable. The only drawback, as with all heat guns, is that it is a bit unstable when resting on its stand. Best to put it on a large metal lid.

El enchufe es británico (Tipo G). Por tanto, no es posible usarlo en España a menos que tengas un adaptador.

il n'a pas été stipuler que le branchement de se pistolet était "anglais" je ne peut donc pas m'en servir, il a fallu que je commande un adaptateur de prise, encore des frais......je suis déçu, car ce n'etais pas écris ou tu moin pas clairement au niveau des caracteristiques
