I'm new to drinking Mate. This is my first set and I'm very happy with it so far. Easy to use and looks and feels very good. I'm sure as I become more of a connoisseur, I'll want something more expensive, but this thing looks good, and does the job. Water stays hot for a long time and does't leak from the thermos. The size of the thermos allows me to refill my Gourd several times, I'd say at least 8-10 times.

This is my first yerb mate set and I love it. I filled the thermos at 8am with 165 degree water (74 C) and accidentally left it at home. When I opened the thermos at 9:30pm, the water was still 110 degrees (43 C). It doesn't leak, travels easily, and is overall great. My only complaint is that the cup is a little hard to set on an angle initially. I have had it slip and mess up my mountain a couple times.

The quality of the cup, bombilla, and metal itself is fantastic! But after just a short time of use, the spout on the thermos has worn down and sticks to one side or leaks while pouring. Maybe just my lid is defective, but I don’t see any way to order just one additional lid.

This is an EXCELLENT yerba mate set. The stainless steel mate gourd is well made, the bombilla filters nicely, and the thermal flask keeps the water hot for a long time. Everything feels sturdy and well constructed, and the set looks great as well. It's perfect whether you're enjoying mate at home or taking it with you on the go. If you're a yerba mate fan, this set is WELL WORTH IT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Excelent product

The cup and the straws are really nice and I would recommend them by themselves, but the thermos was very poor quality. It looks nice, feels sturdy, and keeps the water hot a long time, but falls apart easily. When it arrived and I opened it for the first time, the metal lining of the outer cap immediately separated from its plastic body. Then when I tested the pouring mechanism that's supposed to seal when you click it, water easily leaked out. Eventually, somebody accidentally dropped the thermos, and after just that one drop the inner cap broke. I could tell it was made out of two pieces glued together without much reinforcement. The body of the thermos also easily got scratched. I would recommend buying the cup and straw, but with a different, higher quality thermos. The first picture is the cap with the two broken pieces together, which you can see is how it looks in the listing photos, and then the second is the two pieces broken apart. They don't snap into each other or anything, they're just glued at the bottom rim of the top piece and the inner rim of the bottom piece. The third picture shows the glue residue in the bottom piece, where the bottom rim of the top piece was probably attached. The fourth picture shows how the outer cap looks whole, then the fifth shows how the metal lining broke off the plastic body. The sixth picture shows the inside of the metal lining, obviously not supposed to come off. There also may be a little glue residue if you look closely. The last photo is the scratch on the body of the thermos, which it got very easily because unlike better thermoses, the paint is barely glazed or protected.
