I bought my Kindle Scribe for heavy note-taking, but because it’s so much bigger than a standard Kindle, I was terrified of scratching that massive screen in my bag. I went with the "Composition Book" design because it’s nostalgic, but I was honestly surprised by how much more "incognito" it makes my device look. It just looks like a regular old school notebook sitting on my desk! Great Fit & Security: The Scribe snaps into the shell perfectly. There’s no "wiggle room" at all, and all the ports and buttons are easy to reach. I’ve had cases before where the plastic felt brittle, but this one feels sturdy enough to handle being popped in and out if I ever need to clean the device. Actually Protective: The PU leather has a nice "grip" to it, so I don’t feel like the Scribe is going to slide out of my hands while I’m reading in bed. It covers the corners well, which is usually the first place a device gets dinged. Plus, the flap stays shut, so I don't worry about my keys scratching the screen when I toss it into my backpack. Eye-Catching Design: I’ve already had two people at a coffee shop ask me where I got this. It’s a total conversation starter. If you’re tired of the plain black or grey "techy" looking cases, this adds so much personality. It’s fun without being "too much." Smart Features (Pen Holder & Sleep/Wake): The auto sleep/wake works every single time I open the cover, which is a battery lifesaver. Also, the built-in pen holder is a game changer. The Scribe's magnet is okay, but this loop actually keeps the pen secure so it doesn't get knocked off and lost in the bottom of my bag. Pros & Cons Pros: Super Slim: It doesn't add much bulk to the device, so it still feels lightweight. The Pen Loop: Total peace of mind for anyone who loses their stylus easily. Design: The print quality of the composition pattern is sharp and looks high-end, not blurry. Cons: Folding the Cover: When you fold the front cover all the way to the back to write, it’s a tiny bit springy at first, but it settles down once the material breaks in after a few days. The Verdict If you want a case that protects your Scribe without making it look like a boring piece of office equipment, this is it. It fits like a glove, keeps the pen safe, and honestly makes me enjoy using my Scribe even more. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

I have had folio style cases for my Kindles since about 2011 and that is what I wanted for my Scribe. The only cases that Amazon offers for the Scribe fold over the top of the device and that simply is not what I wanted. After a bit of research, I finally found this case and could not be happier - it meets every need that I have. Great price, solid protection, soft material that helps you hang on, and a sleek design. The case folds open with ease and the added pen holder is a great addition for Scribe users who utilize that feature. Really great case, especially for the price!

Great cover, I've bought this cover twice, only because I dropped my kindle and cracked the plastic of the case in doing so. I knew I wanted the exact case to replace it because I enjoy it so much. It protects the screen with a nice heavy thick cover. The case was cracked but no damage was sustained by the kindle scribe itself.

I do really like this case. I like that the Kindle Scribe fits in snugly. The case is nice and smooth too, very sturdy. Two cons - there are no bends in the case to allow the Kindle to be propped up. Also, it's quite heavy. The picture that on the listing that shows it's "slim" is also misleading. I do think the case is pretty slim, but not as much as that picture suggests. I'd definitely say this is a great case! The cons are pretty minimal for me.

I purchased two of these Fintie Slimshell Cases—one for my 10.2" Kindle Scribe (2022 release) and another for the 2024 release. This case fits both versions perfectly, with a snug and secure hold. This Fintie Composition Style case is exactly what I wanted for my Kindle Scribe. The look is spot-on – classic and cool. The feel is great too; the materials are pleasant and provide a nice grip. Most importantly, the quality seems excellent – durable, fits perfectly, and offers good protection. Beyond the basics, the functional details are great too. The pen holder is secure, the magnetic closure keeps the cover shut reliably, and the auto sleep/wake function works perfectly. It just works well all around while looking great. If you like the composition book style, you won't be disappointed with the look, feel, quality, or features of this case. A great buy!

I use the Fintie Cases for by ipads and Kindle as well as by Microsoft Tablet. They fit well and provide a good stable kickstand for all three tablets. When carrying the tablets they provide a good hand grip surface even for my arthritic fingers. The protection is excellent as I have not had a screen crack while by tablets were incased in these, even though they have been knocked off chairs and desk. The covers wear well and are water proof from rain. I like the composition notebook like cover as most people think it is a notebook not a tablet. I recommend this product.

I must say I was impressed with both the quality and design of the case. It doesn't bulk up the tablet too much. In fact it still remained pretty light. This case was successful in giving me that nostalgic feeling of me holding my handy dandy composition book while offering the protection my kindle need to survive any casual use. It was absolutely worth every red cent and I would highly recommend this case.

Zunächst ein Loblied: Die Hülle sieht toll aus und fühlt sich wertig, lederartig, an. Sie ist leicht, der Kindle passt perfekt und die Hülle verleiht dem Kindle eine teure, hochwertige Optik, die an ein gebundenes Buch oder eine Leder-Prospektmappe erinnert. Das Aufwachen des Readers beim Aufklappen funktioniert zuverlässig. Sowohl wie ein Buch aufgeklappt, als auch, wenn man den Deckel komplett nach hinten umschlägt, also die Hülle vollständig hinter dem Kindle verschwindet, ist der Reader in dieser Hülle gut nutzbar und durch die auch innen mattschwarze Optik, wirkt das Ganze (Hülle plus Kindle) wie aus einem Guss. Viel besser geht es meines Erachtens kaum. Jedoch habe ich zwei kleine Mankos, die der Perfektion etwas entgegenstehen: Die wirklich wertige Optik, die einem analogen Buch kaum nachsteht, wird durch den in der Schlaufe steckenden Stift etwas in Richtung "Elektrogerätehülle" verhunzt, was wirklich schade ist. Andererseits wüsste ich auch keine bessere Alternative, als gar keine Halterung für den Stift anzubringen, weil eine neben der Hülle positionierte Halterung wie z.B. bei CoBak, gar nicht geht (gerät wirkt optisch zu breit und die Halterung ist bei dieser Halterung viel zu fest). Ich werde mir die Fintie-Hülle nochmal kaufen müssen, weil ich Kerzenwachs auf die Hülle bekam und mit Fett kann die Hülle durch das mattschwarze Design leider gar nichts anfangen: Hässliche, glänzende Fettflecken sind das Ergebnis und als jemand, der auf die Optik Wert legt, komme ich damit nicht klar. Ein Versuch mit der CoBak-Hülle "fremdzugehen" endete in der Rücksendung der CoBak-Hülle, weil die Haptik und die Optik nicht vergleichbar sind. Ich finde die Fintie-Hülle um Längen besser. Wer's hauptsächlich stabil und robust mag, der sollte vielleicht CoBak kaufen, aber wer Design, ein schmeichelndes Gefühl in der Hand und eine analoge Retro-Optik bevorzugt, sollte hier zuschlagen und wird es nicht bereuhen. Nur sollte man keine fettigen Finger haben, was man beim Lesen eines Buches im Übrigen auch nicht haben sollte ; )

Der Umschlag kam sehr schnell, passt wunderbar, aber auf dem Bild bei Amazon sind die Marmorschlieren mit goldfarbenen Elementen, meine Schlieren sind viel blasser und einfaches Grau. Passt, aber nicht so schön wie auf der Abbildung. Deswegen nur 4 Sterne.

Solid construction and works exactly right. When you open it it turns the kindle on, when you shut it it turns it off. The outer cover material makes it feel like a solid hard back book, and it’s got nice images of a library rows of shelves with a ladder to reach higher levels. Really imaginative and tasteful, and plus it holds the pen neatly at the top in a little loop of ribbon. Makes easy access the pen possible and quick and plus the advantage is you’ll never loose your pen. It’s one of the better holders I’ve ever used, in fact it’s so good I kept it for my second model of Kindle Scribe and just carried on using the same case. (the kindle 2024 model was actually the same size as the original 2022 model)

I used to have the trust to Fintie products. Value for money. But not this time. Initially, all good, very esthetic case and it is has the loop of the pen separately on top, not embedded into plastic case. Although, magnets quickly losen up. They fall off the place where they are placed. And after carrying Kindle in the work backpack, I used to find magnets sticking to cover, on top. At the end, I lost one. Then, plastic quality... I don't pull out Kindle form the case. I don't throw it on anything hard. But, it somehow breaks! It breaks on the corners, edges. Like the tension of the kindle placement makes the plastic weak with the time? I bought the case in May 2024, it is broken by January 2025.

Schützt den Scribe gut und hat praktische Funktionen. Das An- und Ausschalten entfällt. Lesen im Liegen ist gut gestützt. Der teure Inhalt (Kindle Scribe) ist sicher vor Staub und anderen Verschmutzungen. Außerdem sieht sie noch schön aus. Einziger Nachteil: das doch relativ hohe Gewicht. Wie ein echtes Buch.
