The action on this kind of broom safe hours of toil. It does need some wood glue to put it together and the wooden screw does come apart but easy to put together. It is not totally robust .It lost some straw on the first use....but still it is a real broom and has great action and words well. These wonderful brooms need to be much more used in the UK. far far far better than any push broom.

The straw is very soft so the broom not very effective for outside sweeping, e.g. patio paving. Disappointed.

Easy to put together, just screw it! Brushes up well in the corners. Use mainly indoors. Would be good on patios but not on cobbly paths as the straw comes out!

Bought this for up at the stables , perfect for summer , easy to sweep up shavings n hay , not a heavy broom ,high quality at great price what more could you ask for

Exactly what I was looking for. It is the perfect size and works well sweeping the patio, thw pathway and even the kitchen floor. I think very good value for the money.
