I wouldn't waste your time with this product, It was not productive at all!

How do you use it in a carpet cleaner?

I typically pour it directly on the spot and let it sit for an hour then use the hot water in the carpet cleaner to bring up the solution and rinse the carpet. If the spot isn't heavily odorous then I just put it where the carpet cleaner solution goes and use the carpet shampooing machine as normal.
