Good buy if packed and shipped well
I had this break on me twice (during transit). I think the problem has been solved now. Love these olives. Mild flavor, and not too soft (mushy) for pitted* (still watch for pits).

Tasteless Olives
It’s safe to say these olives taste nothing like Castelvetrano olives. Just tasteless. One and done purchase.

The Olives Taste Great But Getting Them Without the Jar Leaking is Worrisome
The olives are great but the two jars we ordered were put into a box with bubble wrap around them but with not enough paper, etc., to keep the jars from moving around inside the box. Of course one broke. When I tried to return it I was advised it was un-returnable and to call a number. Who has time for this? Why isn't there an option to say that a food item lost its pressurized seal and we feel the food item/olives are unsafe to eat, not to mention the ugliness of a wet box with wet paper and wet bubble wrap to to break down for recycling. I doubt I'll buy again. I'm giving it two stars because the olives are amazingly good, packaging sucks.

Great Olives. Inconsistent Jars / Storage.
Product is excellent. Love the olives, however, I ordered two jars and one of them came where the seal had broken and the olives were moldy on the inside.

Finally a product where you can taste the olives!
I've been on a hunt to find castelvetrano olives that don't have so much sodium in them they taste like cocktail olives. I looked at the sodium content when I was browsing and noticed that this was lower than others I'd purchased before. They are great - I can taste the buttery flavor, salty is not overpowering. I turned this into a subscription rather than single purchase. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish there were more buttery notes, but still really good.
