I wear them for my daughter’s lessons too so that when I help her groom and tack and take horses to and from their stalls/paddocks I don’t have to worry so much where I step. They’re sturdy. I have 12.5” calves and these are very very roomy in that area so they would definitely accommodate larger calves. They’re not bad for beginning riding, but I am going to be purchasing some paddock boots and chaps because these do restrict my ankle movement in the stirrups and the heel isn’t quite tall enough to prevent my foot from slipping through the stirrup. But I’ll keep wearing these to the barn on days I don’t ride, and any other time I need something waterproof that I don’t mind getting dirty. ## Features - ✅ 100% Rubber Tall Dress Boots - Made of a strong, supple rubber that looks sleek and lasts a long time, you will love these tall riding boots! PLEASE NOTE: the size displayed on the sole is a UK size - please try the boots on to test the fit before returning. - ✅ Sturdy Heel and Sole - The durable rubber sole effectively absorbs impact and ensures comfort whether walking or riding. - ✅ Easy to Clean - Rubber is exceptionally easy to clean: just wipe these show boots with a clean, damp sponge or cloth and dry with a soft towel. - ✅ Superior Grip - Ribbed rubber soles offer great stability and grip in the stirrups and on the ground. - ✅ Elastic Side Panels and Soft Inner Lining - Flexible side panels and a soft inner lining make these boots comfortable for every rider! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00CUHUZN8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #315,851 in Shoes & Handbags ( See Top 100 in Shoes & Handbags ) #3,609 in Women's Boots | | Boot Form Type | Equestrian Boot | | Brand | HORZE | | Closure Type | Slip-On | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.7 out of 5 stars 116 Reviews | | Heel Type | Block Heel | | Insole Material | Rubber | | Item Type Name | ankle boot | | Item Weight | 3.53 Pounds | | Lining Description | Natural Rubber | | Manufacturer | Horze | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model Name | Riding Boots | | Occasion | dress | | Outer Material Type | Rubber | | Pattern | Solid | | Seasons | All | | Shaft Circumference | 14 inches | | Shaft Height | knee high | | Shoe Height Map | Knee-High | | Sole Material | Rubber | | Style Name | Riding Boots | | Subject Character | barbie | | Toe Style | Closed Toe | | Unit Count | 1.00 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Images ![HORZE Chester Unisex Adult Rubber Equestrian Horse Riding Boots for Women, Men - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Qdla5yJ9S.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What region does the boots come from?** A: I'm not sure what region they were made but they were shipped from Hazelton, PA. I ordered one size larger and they fit very nicely, even with heavy socks on. The boots look like real leather and durable. I ordered theses boots to replace the one pair that I had for over 20 years. **Q: Is this men’s or women’s size?** A: Nieither. Child size. The calf is slim. **Q: what is the calf circumference of this boot?** A: Too small! You can't even get your foot into it! **Q: 1 Big Kids doesn't make sense. Our daughter wears Kid's size 4 or 4.5 which size should order?** A: You would order a size 4.5 in this boot as well. Unfortunately, it looks like they are currently out of that size. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ IL MATERIALE NON E' PELLE MA GOMMA *by A***O on 20 April 2021* Ritengo molto grave che sia indicato un materiale diverso da quello effettivo dato che avevo scelto questo articolo proprio in ragione del materiale.
