Ambeo Sub

Really amazing piece of engineering. I paired 2 of these subs to the Ambeo plus. No problems pairing or calibrating via the Sennheiser smart app. Amazing bass from such a small unit.

I gave it a shot with a COAX cable and it sounded good. Not as good as a Klipsch powered sub. The benefit would have been a wireless connection allowing me to put the sub in a place near the couch. The Klipsch is in a cabinet. I ended up returning. Sennheiser, fire the product manager for not having this thing work with your most expensive soundbar.

Bought this item once before the Super Bowl and had an issue with popping/crackling at slightly higher than normal volumes. Figured it was a one-off issue considering the price so returned it and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, once the replacement came in, I noticed the same issue but was considering putting up with it since it'd be used at normal volume 90% of the time. However, I recently noticed there was no bass when watching tv and I realized it's no longer connecting to the soundbar so it's essentially useless. I read reviews where this same issue happened with other buyers so I should have taken their advice and not purchased this but I didn't. If you're reading this and are on the fence, I'd look elsewhere.

This sub was paired with the Ambeo Mini soundbar which was easy to do and adjust with the app. The base compliments the soundbar very well and there was no need to increase the bass volume too much since the sub provides ample bass. the overall effect is excellent.

The sub worked just fine for what it was. I ended up sending it back because our space was just a bit too small I believe. Both music and movies sounded better when we were only using our ambeo plus soundbar and the small built in subs. So I would just make sure to try this sub in person if you don't have a super large space. We were seated probably 20 feet away from the system which was the entire width of the room. Even turning the volume down all the way, it still overpowered in places - especially music. I really wish there was an equalizer available in the app as it was just a few frequencies I could not tame.

I found setup with my AMBEO Plus super easy via bluetooth. The room calibration was easy and resulted in a nice, balanced sound.

This sub is very much overrated. It is very lightweight, cheap flimsy materials like plastic. My experience was not great. The signs was very buff buff if you know what I mean. Certainly not musical for me when I paired with my system. I don't recommend for this high price!

Solid subwoofer for the Sennheiser Soundbar. Low end is low, and no distortion at higher volumes. Build quality is solid. Really improves the low end in movies and sports. Solid addition to our modest home theatre.

This unit provides a real rumble and is a great complement to my Anbeo Soundbar Plus. Easy to set up with the app, and can even switched off in the app-although I haven't found a reason to do so as yet.

Comprei para fazer par com uma soundbar Ambeo Max da mesma marca e aproveitar todos os seus recursos. O som é excelente, melhorou muito mesmo. Mas só compre se você tiver uma soundbar da marca, senão, existem opções melhores na faixa de preço. Deu medo de comprar um produto caro desses e chegar danificado ou ser roubado aqui no país, mas felizmente, deu tudo certo, a embalagem foi super reforçada, além da caixa original, foi embalada em mais duas caixas, a caixa mais externa chegou danificada, mas as outras chegaram intactas. Preço bem mais em conta que em lojas nacionais.

Very impressed so far ( with the product ) ,not so the delivery. Subwoofer has an audible humm ( not uncommon) , that is mainly noticeable between watching films . This may be fixable after I visit my local audio guys and try a more shielded cable .failing that will try a line conditioner .next option ,return faulty unit Sub itself is very good . Can’t believe how much bass is thrown out by it. Delivery needs to sorted.stayed home from work to accept it but still not arrived by 5 pm. A call to Amazon does not help much. Amazon Australia needs to advise customers of a 3 hour time window, so at least you don’t waste a whole day .cmon Amazon, do better.
