Review: Versatile game - Hellapagos is easy to teach, easy to learn and very versatile. Our kids (8 & 11) we're able to learn it within a couple rounds but it's also a great game when everyone in our group comes over on the same night. It's versatility in being entertaining to adult gamers and kids earns it a permanent spot on my game shelf. Also very fun when your group is made up of people of varying skill levels. People from my twilight imperium group can play this with people from my Catan group and have an equal shot at making it off the island alive. I can see this being a good game to play when a new person joins one of our groups too. We have people who don't like werewolf but this, while being a social game that has player elimination, is good with them. All in all it's a winner in my books.
Review: The Big Box version is by far the most fun way to play! - The extension pack, that’s included with this game, makes it so much more fun than just the original! I would only recommend this game to people with the expansion pack. Everything that felt missing in the game is corrected with the expansion. We played it 3 times last night. First without the expansion as we were remembering the rules. A second round because we read through the rules again after forgetting a few things. Then a third time with the expansion. The third time was by far the most fun. Because of the expansion we will likely play this game a whole lot more. Great game for a family night or with a large group. Gave us a bunch of laughs. Great game to play for team work as you’re all trying to win together. You can get creative on ways to protect yourself. Fun to figure out ways to save everyone.

Hellapagos is easy to teach, easy to learn and very versatile. Our kids (8 & 11) we're able to learn it within a couple rounds but it's also a great game when everyone in our group comes over on the same night.
