Can it be painted over with masonry paint.

Yes you can.. but like any masonry paint, put two good coats on.

Could you please advise if annual applications are required or does it last for more than one year? Had damp problems since wall insulation

Thank you for your enquiry into Raincheck Eco.If applied correctly and according the application guidelines, the Raincheck ECO has a lifespan of 10 years, so an annual application is not required. If you are seeking a longer lasting product, Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream will last in excess of 25 years, and is a single coat application. Can this product be used to seal a concrete birdbath without harming the birds

This product should be absolutely fine as it soaks into brick or concrete and then dries into a waterproof coating like a matt varnish.

Will this seal terracotta pots?

Yes it can be used on the external of a non glazed terracotta pot, it will create a water repellent surface but remains breathable so moisture can still pass. Always do a test patch in an inconspicuous area first to ensure it absorbs in and there is no colour change.
