Poor sound quality.
The product was larger than I expected and did not fit where I wanted it. I tried to return it, but this was not allowed, so I moved it to another, less convenient place. I set it up, and put in some CDs that I had been playing on my DVD player. The sound quality was so poor that I hardly recognized some of the songs. I tried adjusting the balances, but nothing helped. So now I'm out $200, and back to playing on the DVD player, which means when a CD is done, it has to be changed by hand. I wanted the CD player so I would not have to do this after each CD. Very disappointed and angry.

Very Satisfied
Was looking for a CD player, to replace my Bose multiple CD unit. After searching, found out that Bose no longer makes the CD player. The only Bose units I could locate were all refurbished, and expensive. Found this SHARP unit. Easy to set up, and takes 5 CD's, sound is good. Great price!

5 CD Changer
I purchased this 5 CD changer for my grandma for her birthday. She doesn't understand Bluetooth or electronics in general. My cousin (he lives by her) got her all set up and he said it was super easy. It's taking grandma a while to figure it out but that's just because she isn't tech savvy. I think she has her CDs figured out now and doing better with the radio, which are the two functions she wanted. She seems to be happy that she now has music options in her assisted living space. I'm so glad these types of radios are still available, sometimes it's just nice to have something easy and just works!

Patience is a virtue.
The size is perfect. However, it is not a simple process getting the CDโs to play. The instructions are not explicit. But, when I do get it to play, the sound is good.

Sharp CD
Not a bad system, however, a bit confusing to use.

Great sound from a moderately priced and smaller sized unit
Like so many others of my generation, I had quite a collection of CD's along with vinyl recordings. As time went on I quickly became a fan of a streaming music service for many years, but recently, had grown nostalgic for specific songs on albums that I'd not heard in years. Also sometimes a person just wants to listen to a whole album without having to go through a search process. Luckily, I'd kept my CD's and most of the vinyl even when we'd got rid of our old stereo system and large speakers (glad I listened to the inner voice that warned about parting with my collection EVEN when I wasn't listening to them after having gone fully to streaming options--"gasp"...I did dare to keep actual stuff I wasn't using). I purchased this CD unit specifically because it holds 5 discs and had recalled that Sharp had been a good brand years ago--turns out it still is --and I'm thrilled to be listening to my old collection again.
