What do all of the different letters & numbers on the WRANGLER JEANS tabs designate and what is the differences in the fabrics

It’s generally not a mystery, it usually indicates the wash, color and style . For example anything with the letter W is applied to the wash. PWD=pre washed MW=medium wash etc. The end of the tab is usually the style. GS= George Strait and usually an initial for the color. Look at the tab and cross reference it to that particular pair.

I read that the black ones run smaller and i read that the black ones are different stretch material. Which one is it?

The answer is yes to both your questions...I was mildly disappointed on receiving my black pair. They are made of a softer denim.

Amazing stuff, however if you're getting the Mexican made (import) - get one size up. I've got the chocolate brown (Mexican) & blue (Vietnamese) both 36X32 but way different upon wear.
