Question 1

how do i stop water from escaping from the soleplate during ironing?
When ironing should the orange light be on or off?

Accepted Answer

The orange light is only on when the temperature of the plate has dropped. Therefore when you first put it on it will show and then subsequently it will go on and off as you iron.As to the water dripping from the sole plate, I occasionally have the same problem. Make sure it is not overfull with water and that the temperature of the iron is not too low. Check that the dial is high enough to prevent that from happening. If it leaks a lot I suggest you return it as this is not a cheap iron.

Question 2

Can I steam clothes on hangers

Accepted Answer

The vertical steam function can also steam items like curtains and clothing with ease.

Question 3

Everyone mentions the weight but not the effectiveness of the anti scal feature which is for this iron the most important feature...anyone?

Accepted Answer

its amazing.,sometimes it takes one inch of calc scal in just 3 hours of iron. i never seen any white particles coming out from the iron on clothes or anything else. it accumulates inside a back space in the iron,,,all you need to do its to open that swivel lid and a small container will come out to be clean with water and its really easy. its is worth all the money for this iron. better than anything else i tried before.

Question 4

Does the iron come with a UK or European plug?

Accepted Answer

Hello, the iron came with a fitted U.K. domestic three pin plug.
