Doctor Who Tardis Mug with Lid, DR87

A great looking mug, especially with the lid on. Even if you don't like Doctor Who, u can guarantee that the mug will definitely turn some heads when being used as an actual mug. It is made from ceramic which helps to make drinks taste better when it's being used as a mug. I would also say that it's a great addition to a collection of rememeobillia or just looks great on a shelf on display. When using it I've had many compliments form people saying that it looked cool. Definitely worth it for any Doctor Who fan.The only slight downside is that it's not the most practical mug. This is because of it's square shape it's not the easiest to drink from as I found out that you have to drink from the corners otherwise your drink can go everywhere so it can be a little awkward to drink from especially with hot drinks.Overall, for 15 quid, it's a great buy especially if you are a Doctor Who fan.

Bought as a present, Tardis detail is great and the lidded mug is well made.

The TARDIS Mug itself looked wonderful, came in the official BBC box and was safely packaged up. It's certainly alot bigger than what I expected it to be. Not that this is a disadvantage, you can certainly fit several biscuits in there at once to dunk in your double-size helping of tea - the mug is that big! It will have to be hand-washed but that's a small price to pay to get a good looking mug like this one! :)I bought this as a birthday present for my friend, to go with her Fez and Doctor Who cosplay, she's a BIG fan of the show. This product will please Doctor Who fans immensely (I nearly kept it for myself) and is definitely worth the purchase! I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing it make another appearance on the 50th Anniversary night!

I bought this as a gift for a grown-up Dr Who fan. I was a little dubious about the shape, but went with it following the other comments on this page. The new owner reports that it is usable, although does feel a little strange drinking from the corner. If you couldn't get used to it, it will make a very attractive pen pot, so don't be put off!It looks great and really is good quality. Someone posted that it's only decorated on 3 sides, but that's incorrect (certainly now) as the one I ordered is decorated on all 4 sides as you would expect.I worried that it might feel or look cheap, but it is neither and both myself and the recipient are very pleased with the finish.

I purchased this as a gift for my partner and he was very pleased with it, although we are both disappointed with the following aspects:1) It is rather too large and would be a lot more practical if it was a little more averagely sized for a drinking vessel. Also, the inside is square, like the outside, which makes it a little difficult to drink out of with great accuracy. I realise that a lot of people will buy it just for novelty value, but as it is sold as a mug, I do expect it to serve as such.2) The box does not state that it is dishwasher (or microwave) safe, so it is a bit of a pain having to hand wash it separately.I also feel that although the lid finishes the image of the tardis off nicely, there is no actually practical use for it really, so the lid tends to sit in the cupboard while the cup is being used.The mug does have good detail and looks very authentic and any doctor who fan would be proud to use it I would imagine.

Unlike several reveiwers of this mug (c'mon 'fess up), I BOUGHT IT FOR MYSELF!! As a matter of fact, I bought 2 so that my much suffering other half could have one as well. Now, I have to point out that I am only an adult as a direct result of my having had too many birthdays. In my mind, I'm 14 year old fan of the show and have spent £100's and £100's on 'toys' (which I prefer to call 'collectables'in front of grown-ups) since the show came back in 2005. These mugs look the part and they will keep my hot drink hot whilst I'm busy wrapped in the latest adventure. The lid will stopped my dunked biscuits from falling into the tea while I'm waiting for a gap in the programme to enable me to locate my mouth.. My poor old boyfriend has had 33 years of my belief in the Good Dr and his battles against evil, going all the way back to Tom Baker. At my time of life, I have watched since William Hartnell and while not quite as scared of the Daleks as I was, I can remember all that tat we were allowed to buy in the 60' & 70s. So I can say that this mug is the best Dr Who mug I have ever seen. The merchandise seem to genuinely be improving since 2005 and let's hope the powers that be keep it that way. I just hope my army of Daleks don't destroy the mug too quickly.

This is a lovely mug. I was quite surprised (and pleased) by the strong Tardis blue colour. The attention to detail is very good as it actually looks like Dr Who's Tardis! The groove is deep enough to enable the lid to sit reasonably comfortably on top of the mug. I've found this works a treat for keeping your tea or cocoa nice and warm. The handle is easy to grip and overall the mug and handle feels solid and reliable. I always hand wash items like this. It arrived very well packaged and on time. Very pleased with my purchase. I'd happily buy another.

Bought for a Dr Who fan who loved it.

I am very impressed with this mug. As a Dr Who fan it meets all expectations. It is sturdy and a good size for a medium cup of tea. It looks great together with the Tardis tea pot. I just wish I had bought two mugs instead of just one.

Bought this as a gift for my son and he absolutely loved it. It’s sturdy and a lovely deep color. He hasn’t used it yet though.
