So I needed an office chair because the one that I had wasn't really helping my back any. And it just didn't have enough cushion on the chair because when you want to sit for hours at your desk you want to be comfortable. So I took a chance on buying this chair. I thought the color was good and the price was right but I was still a little nervous because it said put together. So I got it right away only took 3 days. And the directions for pretty easy there were a couple of spots that I think we're out of order because you had to kind of play around with the screws going into the holes from the arms but I think if I were to get another chair like this I would probably do it my way because it's pretty self-explanatory but I followed the directions that came with the chair. And hey I'm 65 years old and I put this chair together. It's nice it's sleek and oh my God is it comfortable!!! Right where my lower back and sciatic is I get the support and it just feels good and I know that if I have to be at my desk for 3 or 4 hours I'm going to be comfortable. I highly highly recommend getting this chair. The only issue that I had was the driver did not leave it on my porch. I had ordered a Vizio TV a couple months ago and the driver brought it up to my porch. So I just had to go out and take two steps bring it into the house I really appreciated that. This driver didn't even come through the gate and there is no signs of any dogs because there aren't any. So this driver just left this giant heavy box it was about 35 lb in front of the garage where it was very visible from the road. And I had a dragon to my front door it was heavy I did not like that at all. But it wasn't damaged or anything and I do love the chair. I just don't like what the driver did.

This is my fourth time purchasing this Amazon Basics mid-back office chair, which says a lot about its overall value. It looks clean and modern, fits well in a home office, and is genuinely comfortable for daily use. I typically get about a year and a half out of each one, which feels reasonable given the price point and materials. Out of the box, the chair is easy to assemble and immediately comfortable. I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it!

Chair looks good and is comfortable. Durability is questionable since the “faux leather” on the arms is flaking off.

Can I just say, thank you so much to my girl for buying this for me😍. Let me explain the wwww and w . Who is using it, Why and where - I'm disabled , I make every meal from scratch, and can't stand in the kitchen. I needed a safe rolling chair that could stand all 5'8 118 lbs riding it hard , and not leave me landing right on my bunny bone against the cold, hard tile . The What and When of it all- this Chair☚ is what's up , and I use it every single freaking day multiple times. This is what you need in your home. After the chair is put together(super easy yall) you have no worries . I roll across the kitchen with ease, and onto my carpeted floor (not cheap carpet either , medium fluffiness). Its very annoying to be disabled, and leasing an apartment that you can't fit to your needs. I wasn't born like this ,so I had to figure out how to accommadate myself to the world around me. Wheelchairs do not reach the counter, and anyone who cooks regularly knows a cook utilizes every part of their kitchen, so a chair that stays still just gets in the way. I have toppled over many many times trying the stretch and reach method. I don't like using reachers due to the droppage and slippage, I have very long arms, and am very cheap , so I just kept trying to deal.🆘 When my girl bought this for me she literally saved me from killing myself one day. I am very long , very very long lol, but I have a derriere and I need a comfy spot for it. When I lean back, this Chair provides support for my back and cushion for my tuffet. Even better, my tiny girlfriend can adjust the seat so she isn't kicking her legs trying to roll forward, then ending up looking like an angry Yosemite Sam. If any of your needs are close to mine, or if you need an inexpensive desk chair that fits in small spaces (my kitchen is definitely in that category ) just get this and make your life easier. Better this than stitches or a cast (again ,I fell a lot lol) 😶😊😉

Very nice, good quality, easy assembly, takes all of 15 20min and tools included. Quality the cushion crushes in short order, the design is ergonomic and functional, it reclines and extends up and down. It's not a forever chair, come on leys be realistic here look at the price, in years like 4-5 years the fake leather will start to peal and the hydraulic lift piston will get the yips but it will still be useful so don't be cheap buy another I did.

Really surprised by how good this Amazon Basics chair is, easy to put together and very solid, it’s comfortable and looks good.. a great purchase at a much lower price then other brands

**ACTUALIZACIÓN- 15 DE DICIEMBRE 2018** Que otra cosa puedo decir acerca de la silla, ha durado a pesar del uso diario que se le da. El cojinete no ha perdido su forma y la silla se ha mantenido firme sin aflojarse ni nada de eso. Comenzó con unos ligeros rechinidos pero eso se debe a que la zona donde se encuentra la silla hay mucho polvo así que le tuve que dar una pequeña limpiada y lubricada y quedó muy bien. Se sigue reclinando bien y sigue igual de cómoda a pesar que se han sentado personas desde 50 a 100 kilos jeje. **ACTUALIZACIÓN-7 DE ABRIL 2018** Después de casi 3 meses de uso la silla sigue funcionando como nueva. Recibe bastante uso día tras día y el respaldo/asiento de la silla han mantenido su forma y sigue igual de cómoda. El único detalle es que las tapitas de los tornillos se comenzarán a salir por si solos con el tiempo, adjunto fotos para que vean las tapitas. En el caso de muchos pues se les podría aplicar un poquito de silicón para que fijen bien pero sin quedarse super pagadas (no recomendaría el uso de Kola Loka) Yo en lo personal le pondré solo lo suficiente para que no se zafen pero no tanto como para que se quede super pegado y las pueda retirar en caso de ser necesario. Este detalle no afecta el funcionamiento de la silla para nada, es meramente un detalle estético y por lo cual no le quitaré estrellas a mi evaluación. He revisado si los tornillos siguen apretados y a pesar del uso que se le da a la silla siguen bien y fijos. El mecanismo hidráulico para bajar y subir la silla no se utiliza tanto así que sigue funcionando a la perfección, la sigo recomendando :) **RESEÑA ORIGINAL** Le regalé esta silla a mi mamá para que tenga mayor comodidad en su negocio y le gustó muchísimo. La silla viene en una caja con todas las piezas necesarias para armarla. el instructivo viene en español, francés e inglés. Para ser sincero están escritas de tal manera que cualquier persona podrá armarla ya que viene muy bien explicado todo y con las herramientas necesarias para armarla. Yo me tardé unos 10 minutos en armarla y quedó muy bien. Las rueditas giran bien y no tienen mayor fricción en el piso de porcelanato del negocio de mi mamá. No les sabría decir que tan bien rodaría en una alfombra pero creo que siempre y cuando no esté muy gruesa rodará bien. El material se de piel suave, aunque es un poco delgada y se siente frágil con buen cuidado que se le dé (como todo producto) durará buen tiempo funcionando y luciendo como debe de ser. La altura total del asiento al momento de extenderla hasta su punto máximo es de unos 55 centímetros, altura estándar. Me gustó que también es posible ajustarla para que se pueda reclinar un tanto sin perder su estabilidad. La única observación que hago es que cuando se esté armando tomen precaución de no sobre apretar los tornillos ya que estos se pueden barrer. En cuanto sientan que topen ya no le aprieten más jeje. Fuera de eso no tengo ninguna queja. A mi mamá le encantó. Saludos!

I have used it for 2 months, it is comfortable, moves smoothly and of great quality, there's nothing to complain especially when it is cheap. In short it is really worthwhile.

I would definitely recommend this chair to people out there who are looking to buy a nice budget office chair. I mostly use it to play video games and throw my laundry on it when I'm not gaming obviously! Took me about 20 minutes to assemble it but an intelligent person can pull it off in 10. Instructions were clear. I'm 6'3" and I can sit comfortably and adjust the height as I like it. It's actually a strong chair, you can lean back without any problem whatsoever and this one mechanism also locks it at a certain tilt so that you can't f@*^ around and fall. Armrest things are perfect and I actually liked sitting on it, but some people complained that the bottom cushion is not good. Buy it I'm saying. Take care!

Ordered this for work from home after going through the numerous good reviews and boy! This chair is every bit worthy of all the good reviews. Reviewing it after using for a month. Material Leatherette cover over soft cushion Sturdy plastic base and wheels (I wanted a steel one for more strength, but this is quite good to be honest) Wheels are very good quality and roll effortlessly Padded arm rest for comfort Design Very comfortable and spacious seating size wise (my husband with a bulky frame fits in comfortably on the chair) Arm rest is fixed and height cant be adjusted but it's fixed at a great comfortable height Can carry heavy weight more than what is mentioned in the description, tested upto 114 kgs and the chair doesn't creak. It's a mid back chair, for me the back rest reaches a little below the shoulders when sitting upright. I am 5'9" tall. The back is upright but not to an extent where it gets uncomfortable while splitting straight and working. Amazingly light weight. Have another chair from the brand featherlite purchased from a dealer in the same price range. This one hands down beats the featherlite chair. Super easy to assemble on your own, comes with instructions to assemble. All adjustments levers available for adjusting tilt and height Go for it without any 2nd thought. Best product at this price range
