My 7 year old LOVES to dress up. He was over the moon with his new costume. Apparently the colours wheee exactly right too! Quality is great as is the sizing.

Like the Batman suit aged 3-4, the torso section and the bottom of the sleeves are quite narrow so not much room for upper body or arm/wrist growth, yet the legs would fit a 6 year old. My son constantly asks to put it on, only to whine 5 minutes later to take it off because the muscles are that big, you can't see his neck and he can't play freely with other toys while he has it on. He does get a lot of use out of the mask and cloak but that's about it. I bought age 3-4 as I saw the reviews for the age 5-6 were complaining that they were so big they would fit a ten year old. I was accidently sent an age 5-6 (which I had to stump postage for to post back unless I posted the receipt!! which I found out in hindsight)and the age 5-6 was enormous and again, the legs would fit a baby giraffe. I wrongly assumed that if I got the age 3-4, that there would be plenty of growth in it to last a couple of years (like the age 5-6). There is, if your kid is a giraffe (tall and very thin). The upper body section barely velcros on my son who just turned 3 yrs old and I doubt we have much use left in it. He only received the suit in November for his birthday. He is normal build but a little smaller in height in comparison to his peers, but in saying this, the upper body part is still too tight for age 3-4 and the legs still too long (even for friends kids, whose children are slightly taller than my son). Would I recommend this muscle outfit? No. If I'm buying again, I would definitely buy without the muscles so that my son can wear his fancy dress outfit and still continue to play with other toys. The sizing on all of these products is clearly a problem and they are way overpriced for the sizing problems that consumers are coming up against, and the shoddy material that tears and pulls the minute the velcro touches touches it. EPIC FAIL!!

The good: materials, style/design, quality of the overall product. The bad: sizes, cape velcro quality. My soon-to-be 3 years old boy is very happy with his Superman costume. He got it for Halloween, but asked to wear it several times since then. It's a good quality costume, with nice padding, good colours and a decent design. It's "breathable" and your little one won't suffocate with heat inside it like with other costumes. But it has some faults. The 3 year old size or more like a 5 year old in reality. And the bit of velcro that secures the cape to the neck is poorly finished and it will annoy and even hurt the child ((by scratching the neck). My son just drops the cape after using it for a while, even though it's his favourite part of the costume. It would make much more sense to stitch it (or even "velcro it") to the shoulders, for example. We might actually try that.

Probably a little on the big size. I bought 1-2 yrs for my small 2 year old who is still in 18-24mth clothes and the foam chest piece was oversized for his frame and it cannot be removed easily as it's glued to material. Once sorted it was great on and not too expensive.

Bought this for my toddler son who is 20 months old. The toddler size fitted well and will probably still fit him in 2 years time when he stretches into it. It seems some people who have left reviews received an incorrect product as this one was exactly as pictured and the muscles vest is quite good quality and does raise a laugh or two. My son got numerous compliments wearing it. Highly recommend!

Brilliant costume. Better quality than most we have seen in shops. Perfect feel good costume before my son went in for his operation...

After reading reviews I measured my three year old son and as reviewers stated sizes are larger than expected. I went for the 1-2 year old and it fits a treat. The costume is well made and got delivered within the specified time. Would totally recommend this product, it looks great and seems as though it will last until he grows out of it.

Ce déguisement a beaucoup plu à mon fils grâce à l'effet "musclé". Il est facile à enfiler et les tissus et éléments sont de qualité. En revanche, il taille assez grand (je dirais 4-5 ans plutôt que 3-4 ans).

I wanted my son to be the flash this year but last year he had an issue with his dog mask last Halloween so I picked Superman since it doesn't cover his face. This is a good quality costume. I did see some areas with "extra" thread but it does no harm. My 2.5 year old son tried it on and although it's slightly large, it still fits well enough to wear on Halloween without dragging it on the floor. He wears a 3t shirt and 2t bottom normally. The bottom of the costume has elastic that goes under the feet (inside shoe) to hold it in place. Finally, the cape is a great addition to the costume but the velcro seems to bother my son so he doesn't like keeping it on long. I believe this will last longer than just 1 day which is great so he can use it as dress up throughout the year.
