Cutluxe Meat Cleaver Knife, 7" Heavy Cleaver Butcher Knife – German Steel

Not quite as hefty as I had hoped but I am still very pleased. Polished and extremely sharp. Looks are pleasing. Price is very fair.

I love great cutlery! I do my own butchering of primal cut and this meat cleaver is my new addition to my cutlery. It's balanced, feels good in my hand and the spine will be very great in penetrating joints and bone. It's s-h-a-r-p and ill let you know how well it keeps an edge.

Very nice knife for the price, heavy and weighted properly

This is a true meat cleaver, so don't expect to use it for vegetables with good results. If that's what you need to do, get a chef's knife. It sharpens well and holds it's edge for a good amount of time, cuts through coconuts and bones with ease, and has the proper heft . The only issue is the highly polished finish; it looks great when new but easily scratches and looks terrible in no time. Better to have the brushed finish of other knives.

This cleaver is awesome. I cut through chicken bones and it made it so easy.

Very nice clever. Bought to cut throught bone when getting ready to cook the bones for stock. Very sharp out of the box. Nice heft to it to help get through the bones. Use with in reason. The large bones on beef are very dense and you should use a saw on them.

This is the first knife from this manufacturer that has ever shown up dull. It wouldn't even cut into a whole onion. It also sadens me that like most of the Chinese steel that we get that these knives WILL rust..take care to not leave them in water as you will start to notice rust forming on the edges in spots. Poor quality stainless steel.

La resistenza dell'acciaio é proporzionale all'uso, innovativo per l'occidente e tradizionale in oriente, delle mannaie leggere per la triturazione delle verdure e della polpa di carne. L'ampiezza della lama, ossia la profondità di taglio, non é un dato fornito sui depliant. É, al contrario, la precisa ragione per l'acquisto di questi due bellissimi coltelli. Non vanno assolutamente usati per colpi da machete sulle ossa o per sfilettare, in quanto hanno un altra vocazione. Ne sono molto contento sia per la linea e sia per il rapporto qualità - prezzo!
